Glad the roofer called to clear up the misunderstanding. At lease you know he's polite! Hope he made it round in the end.Sealed Pot Challenge 075

Thanks everyone
The roofer came the next day as planned. Awaiting the quote.
Thanks for the welcome back @klew356 It feels like quite a lot of effort already! But I hope you are right
I've been working all week stripping the small room. It's done now, but nothing would shift that paper. It came off in TINY pieces! Grrr.
The decorator has redecorated the hallway. It looks fresh and clean. She worked so hard. I remembered to thank her for her hard work every evening. She will start the 'office' on Tuesday now it is fully stripped. I sanded and undercoated my door step and door frame. I am exhausted! So unfit.
My relative is out of hospital. The carers are not set up to come before Tuesday so I will go down and help look after her tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing her. What a fighter!
I have an electrician coming next week to change my lighting in the bathroom/loo and at the front of my house.
I have an EA coming in the morning and a viewer wanting to come next Saturday.

Thanks everyone
I spent the bank holiday weekend caring for my relative. Hats off to all of you who do it full-time. I loved spending time with my relative and we laughed a lot.
I can happily report the small junk room of many years is now a very lovely office! The hallway is done too but not the doors so they will have to make do with a steam clean, so that's on the list tomorrow. I had a quote on the fascias but the price was too high. I will keep looking. Still can't find a plumber...
I've officially signed with an EA and the photographers come next week. If the house doesn't sell it will be loads better to live in
I have been gardening today and cleaning windows. I will continue gardening tomorrow if the weather allows. I have a gardener coming tomorrow to help for a few hours.
Tons more house bits and pieces to be done before the photos!!! It feels like a full-time job.

Well done on all the prep work you've been doing. As you say you should end up with a nicer home whether or not it sells quickly.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
