You seem to be in full flow with everything . There are always annoying things like fridges and important people dragging their heels ( surveyors ) .Have a great weekend regardless
The week ahead looks excitingRosaBernicia said: All sounding good DIA, glad to hear your relative is OK. Message me if I can be of any help with your move plans.Totally agree about the kitchen decision - I would rather sort a place myself, agents seem to be split on agreeing vs pointing out that not all buyers have imagination about what they want, but all say it's fine if reflected in the price.
Thanks Rosa. I recall you said this in the past but I was not in the right place to 'hear it' if that makes sense?Seasidegal58 said:

I always did think that your house/ surroundings seem to bring your mood down so it's nice to see that the ball is rolling to make your next house your home. And the lifestyle change that accompanies that sounds delightful. Will we be seeing you north of the border or is that a move too far?
Your female decorator/ beautician sounds like a great find! Once you find someone you like and trust, what a bonus if they can cater for multiple requirements.
I echo the others - I think your eating habits seem far healthier than most. You always have something delicious on the menu from my point of view.
So glad your relative came out of her operation well too, that's a relief. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

A good day despite a no show/no message from the roofer.
Decorator came and made good progress and was a pleasure to be with.
Great feedback from the EA.
I have made a good start on stripping the walls in 'the office to be'
Best of all I managed to negotiate the EA fee down saving a potential £2,700 on the bill.
I've eaten healthily too.
My relative phoned and should be out of hospital tomorrow
The week has begun well. I hope your's has tooIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

It all sounds like great news, apart from the roofer!.
Give him the benefit of the doubt as emergencies can crop up in anyone's life, and hopefully you'll hear something off him tomorrow. X

Thanks @Chrystal You were right. He phoned late evening, said he'd got the days wrong and we arranged for him to come today instead. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
