You are sounding very organised. The veg planting is a good idea. I am doing the same. I'm jealous of the parasol - ours broke last year and we didn't get around to replacing it. A bit difficult now although we have trees so natural shade - possibly too much - they need chopping back. If the worst comes to the worst thinking of rigging up one of those homemade 'sail' type ideas. If I can find something suitable to attach toAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

ooh where did you order seeds DIA? All mine are still in storage
so I think I'm going to give in and buy gardening stuff anew.
Good plan re tea clearance - I should do that, I hang onto stuff that other people like and then it goes out of date before they visit again!Rosa xxDebt free May 2016... DFW#2 in progress

Thanks everyone. Yes looking forward to using my garden productively. I'm a useless grower so we shall see
Still no almond milk but going to get some today. Will try going after 5pm as staff told me it is quieter then
I called up the squirrel man yesterday to take away his useless traps that are huge and just garden clutter. Won’t need contact as leaving side gate open at a specific time.
The garden is looking much clearer. Did some gardening yesterday and will be back out there after I’ve had some breakfast. Everything has been cut back and looks clear, but the roots of weeds were not dug up so I will do that today and clear tubs/pots ready for seeds. I couldn’t get any chard but a friend is sending me a few seeds in the post! There is a hardware shop that sells compost so I will get some to top up.
My MSE action of the day is to take up an offer from my water authority for £1 a month for a year to sort any issues related to my home. It goes up to £10 after 12 months (but on calendar to cancel.) I remembered this after hearing a warning on the radio about flushing the right things and drain issues. I’ve never had a problem and would not usually do this, but with more people at home and issues with what people are flushing, I thought it might give me peace of mind…
Today I must do some work as I haven’t done anything beyond the odd hour here and there for too long
Wishing you all a positive day

@RosaBernicia The seeds are from Sutton seed company.
Well I cracked and went to the shops. Wasn't too bad. As I write I am enjoying a cup of tea with milk. Bliss!!
Also got some other bits and pieces and some fruit. Ok, I confess to some half priced Swiss chocolate mini eggs
I tried an online order last night. A 2 hour wait and when I was through the slots for delivery had gone. I used to get deliveries for £1.99, now the charge is £6.99 but under the circumstances I'll have to suck it up as there is still stuff I need.
Enjoying the bluebells in my garden, never noticed them before as they were smothered with weeds.
I can now cycle all the way to my neighbouring area without stopping
Off to make another cup of tea.

Thats's a big jump in a delivery charge!😱. Is that because your order is in peak time now or just because they can hike the fee due to over subscribing customers?
