Good that you got some help in your garden. You reminded me that we have a pressure washer so at some point we could potentially dig that out and do our paving slabs. DH didn't look impressed at the suggestion but I think given we have been given our commute time back as well as being 'safe' at home - we should make the most of it. Our neighbours will be happy - on the one side in particular they are very house proud.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I have run out of milk, almonds, and I'd really like a weekend newspaper. Wondering if they are essential items and whether exposing myself to Corona is worth it. Probably not. I might just give up milk as I'm always running out. I can eat flaked almonds from the cupboard. I can read the paper online. When I last went shopping a man actually brushed past me and TOUCHED MY WRIST he was so close.
Plans for today? Clearing clothes out of my wardrobe, ironing, cleaning, reading, making a curry and some quinoa and beans, creative work. That should do...

Sorry to hear of your situation DIA 😾
I had a horrible time just now, and just received a letter telling me to stay in .
I only went out to buy rubbish for my mouth , to keep my spirits up . Okay , crisps .🙀
I'm odd with milk . Love cappuccino . Don't like milk in ordinary coffee or tea . Don't like it in cereals etc . Probably best to wait till you run low on a few things and get some then .
Anyway enjoy the Easter 🐰5 -
About the milk, I have a friend that freezes it in the ice cube bags so she always has enough for a cup of tea if she runs out. 🙂Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again7

Almond milk is long life isn't it so probably doesn't need to be. Good that you have your letter. One of my neighbours has just had one too. The problem is nationally a much wider group also need to shield and there just isn't enough delivery services for all. You could see if you could get help from an NHS volunteer though - my parents have used that service for medication already. Happy Easter. You are doing the right thing staying home. Could you get one of those boxes from Mr Ms? Am**** also sell some stuff - ironically from Mr Ms.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks naomim, good idea
I’m getting fed up of not having my brand of almond milk and that is very spoilt considering all that is going on. I know. But a decent cup of tea makes me feel comforted in this difficult time. On Wednesday a lovely tea that does not need milk arrives and I’m looking forward to it. A lot.
Chucked out loads of assorted teas, taking up space and mostly out of date. It helps with decision making as I can select from the limited range of teas that I actually like
Going to try and get though to the weekend without going into the shops, but we will see, as I might snap and just go…
I have some plant seeds on order, so for the first time ever I will be attempting some herbs, rocket, green veggies and even a few pretty pumpkins for the Autumn. It cost me £20 all in, pretty much the price of a veg box delivery. Hopefully a good buy and MSE too.
Yesterday was write-off due to a headache. I’m clear of it today. So planning on pottering and a few hours work too as I don’t want to lose my flow.
Also, gardening and a cup of tea and a read in the garden too… Along with a chair, I found a little table that can go out there and the parasol not up in many years is up! The times they are changing indeed!
I hope you are all having a good day.
