Oh, that's different and totally makes sense to do a 4 day week for a five day paySunshine_girl2 said:DIA I do compressed hours so don't work Fridays , am trying to stick with what I know .

I'm glad you got your online shop DIA
. It may be hard to get future ones though. I think supermarkets will try to get people to stay further apart. As long as we don't touch our faces before washing our hands then hopefully we'll be okay.

Yes future shops will be a problem but I am okay now for a bit and very relieved. I've washed my hands so often today they are getting a bit dry so doing a hand treatment tonight. I use olive oil and sugar as a scrub then loads of hand cream. I might need to do it everyday at this rate.HairyHandofDartmoor said:I'm glad you got your online shop DIA

Having the bike sorted is brilliant. It has been a frog for over a year. Maybe two. It only took a global pandemic to get e to do it

Can you go onto Decaff coffee? I went onto decaff tee when I was pregnant in 2009 and have stayed with it since then. Caffiene withdrawal is awful.Sunshine_girl2 said:DIA I have a vision of you floating by on your bike in the sunshine .My day I log on around 7.30 am,

It has taken about two months but my sleep now is better than it has been for 10 years. I found it easy but did have a headache the first week.Glad the delivery came with all the essentials 😂
My day is currently up around 7.30ish quick tidy of the kitchen, shower ready for work by 9am. Try and get the kids to do some shcool work, get up and down to check and help their IT issues all morning. Make lunch, fanny about on the computer until about 4.45pm. I like the idea of stopping and listening to a particular radio show mid morning for a break.
Glad you got your bike sorted. I'm trying to convince 14yo to clear out the weeds in our front garden. Maybe tomorrow,

Glad you got your online delivery sorted - and that the essentials arrived! Really hoping that my Friday order arrives okay and includes TP! I would be struggling more with working from home but we have a major piece of work to deliver by the end of March so busy, busy, busy. Have a good night all.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks Naomim, I'm not keen on decaf coffee but there are a few teas that are low caffeine that I like so might try them. Thanks for the ideaNaomim said:

My day began well as I finally made good poached eggs! I have been looking for a stainless steel egg poacher without success and today I decided if the people on ‘4 in a bed’ can do it for B&B guests I can too. I used a pan and my eggs came out perfectly and saves buying a new ‘thing’ and health brownie points for not frying food every day.
Cycled to a PO further away as it has a screen and the people are nicer too.
Sixty minutes exercise achieved, maybe more today depending on what I do/don’t do on the garden
An official letter written and printed and posted at the PO
A postcard sent to a friend to cheer her up
On another diary I saw the comment ‘who has latex gloves now?’ and the answer is me. So used them and turned them inside out when I got home, to keep in a bag until I need them again. I also wore a mask purchased ages ago for fumes and dust in a DIY shop. Felt like a prize plonker but I am in an area where the virus is going high so I am doing what I can to keep safe.
Foodie news? I am making my own hummus today as I have lots of lemons, garlic, tahini and olive oil. Also I have black eyed beans that I soaked last night to turn into black eyed bean burgers. Lots of almond butter and chillies so going to attempt a spicy satay sauce. Having the burgers with purple broccoli too.
Gardening and wall paper stripping? Hmm…Will report back later today.
Let me know if what your daily routine is. I am trying to find a structure and you might be doing something that works for me.
Have a positive stay home day and stay safe everyone

Unfortunately not, but he did clear out the garage to try and make space to do some exercise in there as we have a punchbag hung up and an exercise bike. I actually thought we'd been robbed it was so tidy, so I can't complain. I'm just wary of asking him to do too much whilst he's at home all day and treating him like a mini slave! My 10yo on the other hand won't do anything for anyone unless it benefits her.doingitanyway said:
