We had a food delivery yesterday and DH washed most items in the sink with soap and water. Freezer items had to go straight in the freezer obviously. The stuff he could't wash he said he would let sit for three days before he touched it to let the virus die out. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

doingitanyway said:It is beginning to sink in that this is going to be for the long haul so I am going to start a daily plan. I'm not sure what it will include but I think an hour exercise a day has to be included. I also want to include a reading hour. Five hours of work. I am going to include a daily phone call so I connect with someone else everyday. I am starting to realise my days will need to be quite structured to prevent my mood slipping...

Thanks Naomim, still working on this. I started today by making sure I get up between 6-7 everyday as the time I got up had begun creeping up.I think this is an excellent plan. Routine will help, as will getting showered and dressed everyday. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Yesterday was a bit of a wasted day. It took me 5 hours to log in to my online shop and I waited in for another delivery a parcel from a friend. Plus, I had a headache all day. Gave in and took paracetamol in the evening. I think it was related to giving up caffeine. I had noticed my eye was twitching. It may not be related to coffee but after several days it has stopped now. I hope I can go back to coffee in the near future.
None of the things on my list for yesterday was achieved so I will try with the same list today starting with taking the bike in for fixing after breakfast.
My supermarket shop arrives at lunchtime. I am silly with excitement just for my almond milk so I can enjoy cups of tea.
I will do a few 20 minute sessions of gardening.
My new structure is beginning to come together. This what I know so far:
Up 6-7/Bed before 11
1 hour exercise (can include gardening in this)
1 reading hour
1 hour cooking/food prep
5 hours of work
What does your day look like? Any tips for helping me with my daily structure?
It is sunny today, hope the sun shines a little for you too today.
