Well done on resisting all the sinful treats. It's much better not to buy them in the first place and keep out of temptation's way if you're trying to eat more healthier. Mind you I'm a fine one to talk - my milk chocolate consumption has reduced to nearly nothing as I'm not keen in most of the vegan milk kind and those chicks I have found I like are expensive. However there are oodles of crisps and savoury snacks that are vegan so I was finding I was buying more of these instead!

Every time you are tempted to stray into these out of bounds regions lol, imagine the eyes of your MSE comrades upon you, keep up the great work. I have swapped a dash of cherry juice with soda water for red wine, it will have to do …..3 -
one thing i would add re office (i dont know what youll be doing so it may not be needed). and if not by you then hopefully its just general advice for anyone.
BUT,
a good chair is a life saver, 2 years ago i looked into them, after feeling uncomfy on your bog std ones.
office chairs have a rating, 8hr, 12, 24hr etc and some inbetween.
best thing i did was buy a strong (can take 150kg, even though i dont weight that), and its a 24hr shift chair, it was £200 but i set up alerts on amazon and i got it the second i got an email to say it was down to £115). i can now sit on it for longer periods of times (and thus my productivity goes up, and therefore cash in goes up! because i dont need to shuffle about or go for a walk as much).. so literally a good workspace pays for itself over the months.
also think of the ergonomics, eg monitors should be a certain level / seats should be etc to avoid strains. guides are online by people such as HSE / NHS etc.
as well as the obvious, (but not so obvious) positiioning of common used things, they should be within reach or not much reach.. even if in business etc, usually printers are a walk a way, in home office they should be close at hand.

I had a ergonomic session before my last role ended. Then I bought a chair, desk, arm and wrist rests, a compact keyboard and an arm to ensure my computer is at eye level. My printer will be in another room but I like to take a break and walk elsewhere. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Excited about your office. Is it going to have some eccentric touches, to stimulate your creativity? What colour are the walls going to be?5

The room is small so I need to keep it simple. I now have a lovely rug and a lap blanket. I will get a shelf spanning a whole wall for books and files (need to find someone to do this). A plant, an oil burner, a lamp. The walls will be white. Boring I know but I want a blank canvas. Hmmm, just need to get on with it...
