Thank you for your posts everyone
Thank you to all the posters who wished me happy Christmas and happy new year. I wish the same for you all. Happy new year also, to all the lurkers who pop up from time to time with words of wisdom.
The last few days have been restful and enjoyable. I’ve been talking to friends and reconnecting with family. This year has forced me to rethink how I connect with people. I now eagerly await my phone so I can deepen my connections. I also want to begin to take photographs.
I have clarity on my house search at last. I will be going for a small house with a garden as it is more in line with my dream of rescuing a dog. Roll on 2021!
I have been slowly losing weight throughout the year. My weight loss had stalled but this morning it was another half a kilo off. This year, without dieting (just being mindful) I lost 9.5 kilos. My initial goal was 20 kilos but I am more than happy with 9.5 kilos.
Health-wise, I worked hard at improving my joints and had successful osteopathy. I ended 2020 without joint pain and with increased mobility
My outstanding achievement has been to meet my 2020 goal of putting the house on the market. Whatever happens I will continue to be proud of that.
Going forward in 2021 I want to focus on work and start to make some money from my creativity. I failed on this in 2020 but most freelancers probably struggled in 2020.
Financially I want to focus on savings and learn to live within a budget. Considering my income I am pleased I did not get into debt and there were no major financial mishaps.
I don’t intend to set new goals for 2021 I will just continue working on the goals outlined in my original post
I ended 2020 feeling positive: thankful for my health, thankful for family and friends and thankful for surviving the pandemic. I feel ready for 2021.
