Newspapers are suggesting that there might be a month's national lockdown as soon as Wednesday. I do hope we get an official statement to parliament ASAP not a series of leaks like we had over the tiers. It's likely to cause more panic buying if that happens.
It's windy and pouring with rain here at the moment but it's supposed to clear up this afternoon. Fortunately, I don't need to go anywhere urgently so I'm sitting tight. 😊
I'm going to give myself a manicure later. My nails are in brilliant condition but I can tell they're too long because I made a mess of typing my password into online banking! 😉 I think I'll paint my toenails too. Last week, I seriously thought of going to the nail shop and having a manicure and shellac but I know it's not really good for my nails over time. Perhaps for Christmas. 🤔8 -
Well here we go again. Although I will be in school every day and not once a week on a rota like before

Well, lockdown is back on.
Funny story.... I volunteered to visit another of our offices next week. The location is pretty awkward for most of us, but I volunteered as it’s near a shopping centre and I thought I’d take the opportunity to wander around. My trip is planned for Thursday, so it looks like I won’t be shopping now 🤣.
In reality, this lockdown won’t actually change much for us. Me and OH will continue to work and the children will continue going to school. We will do our food shopping as normal and I can buy anything else we need online. Hopefully, this restrictions now will mean people can have a relatively normal Christmas.5 -
You're obviously not meant to spend any of your new money chanie! 🤣
Much the same here. Obviously dance classes will stop again and the few meals out that we've had but otherwise few changes to where we were back in March. I'm really pleased I've got my hair appointment for Monday though. 😁5 -
Good Morning Lovely LadiesWell, as we all expected, here we go round the Mulberry bush (of Lockdown) again. It won't really change much for me either, just more of the same but now that I'm no longer having to be mindful of DILS pregnancy I can at least go food shopping. The big difference is this time I won't be undertaking any major projects and I won't be doing much gardening. I have a few bits and pieces of painting I can be getting on with and I'm aiming to reupholster my dining chairs. At least I have my new cooker now so I have no excuse for not cooking healthy meals. 😂 this time I shall have both the time and the equipment I need to get a grip and get back to it.Just one final push to get the kitchen finished. Just need to order my island unit. The boys will build that for me, then I can reorganise my kitchen cupboards and have a bit of a sort out. I have treated myself to some new kitchen accessories, kettle, toaster, one of those George Foreman type grill thingies. Next time Sainsburys have one of their homeware events I will get some of their "Le Crueset" lookalike oven to table cookware.I am determined to lose a bit of the weight I regained During the last lockdown and not gain any more this time round. Essentially this lockdown it's going to be "project me". 😂 My plan is lose weight, get fitter, and keeep fabbing.Gave myself a mini skin peel yesterday, today I'll do a manicure. The weather looks better today so going to head out for a walk later and do a bit of garden tidying up. Tomorrow I will buy some compost so I can plant up some bulbs for spring.Unfortunately my hair appt is for Friday in the city centre with my favourite stylist. I don't think I will be able to switch it to earlier in the week so I think I will try and get a local appt before we go into lockdown. It will be better than nothing. I've got a massage booked for Tuesday, hopefully that will still be on.We've got this ladies.....We can do it. We just need to keep busy and cheerful.Stay happy and keep fabbing.9

Hello Ladies,
Lockdown is not going to make much difference to my life apart from the cancellation of the next 2 Thursdays of the creative writing course I was attending. It is a shame, that we will not be able to say goodbye to our facilitator Will or to each other, but it was great for the 2 Thursdays that have already gone by.It did inspire me to get writing again.
I am fully stocked up with everything we need for a comfortable life, so there is no danger of me running out of anything. I will not have to join the hordes of shoppers who have already begun to panic buy. This 2nd lockdown was always on the way, so each week I was adding items to my weekly shopping which were to add to my stock of household items and non perishable food.
I am continuing with my fabbing. My fingernails have been manicured by me and I painted my fingernails with clear nail polish on Thursday. I also gave myself a pedicure this week and painted my toe nails with gold nail polish and they look fab. I wear perfume every day and on some days I layer my perfume with the matching body lotion and body powder.
I have gained a pound in weight which is not a disaster, but I just have to continue with the healthy eating and hope that my steady weight loss continues soon.
I can start getting all of the Christmas presents wrapped now that November has arrived. Hopefully my son in law will agree to drive to London and pick the majority of them up once lockdown is over. The other Christmas presents I will be posting by 2nd class post. I also have birthday presents to wrap as my older daughter and son have December birthdays.
Lunch yesterday was jumbo king prawns and vegetable stir fry and it was delicious

Another delicious meal sugarbaby. Those prawns look fantastic.😋
We've decided to meet up with DD2 for a meal on Wednesday evening. It's her birthday during lockdown so it made sense to bring it forward.
I decided not to keep the Primark long sleeved tops. They were OK but didn't really make me feel good so I returned them this morning as I didn't want them hanging around for a month. It was manic with a huge queue waiting to get into the shop even before it opened. I just got my refund and came straight home.8 -
sugar your dinner looks yummy.
maman enjoy your meal with your daughter. What type of cuisine are you planning on eating?
it’s OH birthday during lockdown, but his birthday is towards the end of the month, so celebrate when the restrictions are hopefully lifted in early December.
Deciem (who make The Ordinary) are doing 23% off across all of their brands for the month of November. The timing is perfect as I’m running low on a couple of products. I’ll probably place another order at the end of November as well, to save a bit of money.I also have ordered a jersey biker jacket from Next, which I’m going to pick up first think tomorrow morning, before the the shops get too busy. I’m going to try it on in-store so I can decide if it’s a keeper, before we go into lockdown.6 -
Hello Ladies.
I had norovirus last week. I felt like absolute death, worse than when I had costochondritis a few weeks ago. I haven't had much luck with my health this year. Oh well at least I am still alive and well now.
I thought winter lockdown would happen so I have been preparing to be indoors a lot. I have been playing a new horror computer game and watching some horror documentaries as well as lots of health related podcasts. I'm just in my pyjamas again today.
I will have a shower and condition my hair tonight. I have to get dressed and go out for a walk tomorrow.7 -
Wednesday you’ve had quite a bit of bad luck health wise recently, but you are still positive. Your lockdown activity box will really come in handy as we enter the second lockdown.
