Hello Ladies,
I managed to lose the pound that I had gained in weight so now I am back to 16 stones 2lbs.
I got an email about my creative writing course. we are switching to Zoom meetings for the last 2 Thursdays, so |I decided to get my work from the 1st week finished and I wrote another monologue from I idea that I had last week. I read it aloud to my daughter and she really liked it, but she felt that the ending needed to be stronger, and as I agreed with her, I added to the ending and she was much happier.
I did skinless, boneless cod fillets, seasoned with hot paprika, slices of orange pepper and lighter mature grated cheddar with a vegetable and pilau rice stir fry tonight for dinner. My daughter and I found it delicious.

Good morning lovely ladies.....
well done on the weight loss, SUgarbaby. You are doing really well. Your healthy meals look really tasty.I weighed myself and have stayed the same. I am happy enough with that, I thought it would be bad news. 😂.I've got some deliveries arriving today so going to have an at home day. Going to start with a pamper session, defuzzing, warm bath, mini facial. Have rescheduled my hair cut for Dec 4th, thats assuming lockdown will end on Dec 2nd, but who knows. I'll just take it as it comes.Watched a brilliant film last night, called "Lion". A true story about a 5 year old boy who gets lost........sad of course but ultimately very heart warming and uplifting. A tale of survival against the odds and a lesson in the importance of resilience and perseverance. His real life story was a timely reminder just how fortunate I am and that by comparison lockdown is nothing really. I am warm, safe and I have all the creature comforts I could ask for. Terry Waite survived far worse.Frost first thing, but now it's sunny. I love crisp sunny autumn days. If the deliveries arrive early enough I shall go for a walk later.7 -
Hello Ladies,
Thanks LLI am even more pleased today with my weight loss as I have lost another pound. I am now 16 stones 1 pound.
I am not feeling in the least despondent at the imminent lockdown. I am prepared in every way that I can be. I have too much to do each day, so there is no prospect of me being bored.
I needed some new socks, so I had a look on the M & S website, but I felt they were too expensive, so I went and had a look on eBay and found some M & S women's socks at a much more reasonable price and bought them from eBay instead.
I am starting to wrap Christmas presents today. I need to get on with it, so that I can have them all ready for when my son in law is able to come and collect them.7 -
Well done on the weightloss sugarbaby. Healthy eating and home cooking is certainly paying off. 😊
I weighed today. I only weigh every 8 weeks , usually I just go on how my clothes feel to keep me in check. I've gained just 2 lbs in the past two months. It's good to be aware so I can make sure when I plan next week's meals I go for healthy things although I know my downfall is the empty calories in wine rather than food. 😉
I went to the shops briefly this morning too. It was busy everywhere with people trying to fit things in before tonight. Every hairdresser and nail shop I passed was busy.
I bought these two soft hoodie type cardigans to add to my one mile clothes:

I've yet to try them on but we'll see what I think.
Out for a meal tonight so last chance to dress up for a reason. It promises to be quite cold but it's crisp and dry so I'm thinking of my black suede boots and leggings under my Zara dress. I think I'll wear a bit more make up than recently as I need a bit of colour.
Hope you got your wool sorted pixie. 😊6 -
Well done Sugarbaby.
Lovely day here, sunny and dry but a bit cold. I had some good news, I won £50 on premium bonds which was nice.
I loved Lion LL, watched it last year and it is very uplifting. Currently I am rewatching West Wing, seems appropriate with the American election going on, the fantasy is more entertaining than the reality and altogether more realistic.
I've made scones so we are having a cream tea today, DH hasn't been well enough to go out so this is a treat for him but not very healthy but I think he needs a treat. I should be cutting the grass, it has been too wet for the last two weeks and it really needs doing, I'm telling myself it needs another nice day to dry out but I know I will regret it if it rains tomorrow but I just can't face it.
Maman I did get my wool, I spent £30 which I think is alot but the woman in front of me spent £97, she said it would keep her busy for lockdown. The wool I got is working up really well but I'm trying not to rush it or it will all be gone in a few days which won't help pass the time in lockdown. Hope you enjoy your meal it will be nice to get out before the dreaded lockdown.

Have a safe Lockdown 2.0.
The traffic today has been horrendous. I had to abandon taking the children to their activity tonight, as the traffic meant we wouldn't have got there in time. I'm due in Central London tomorrow. I've noticed my commute has gradually got busier and busier in the few weeks I have been in this job, so it will be interesting to see whether the lockdown will have an impact on footfall in Central London.
Anyone else viewing the US election. Its better than any soap opera - allegations of cheating and demanding recounts.

well done Sugarbaby on the weight loss. Your meals look lovely. Got my last swim in this evening before the gym closes. It was the busiest that I have ever seen it, 8 allowed in jacuzzi, counted 13 including children!A friend from work messaged me to ask if it was busy because she was thinking of going down. She told me that her friend who works in m n s said nothing left in food hall! I haven't been shopping, I always go late in the week.7

I like that dark hoodie Maman.
That is good about the £50 Pixie.
I just had a bath and then put on clean pyjamas. I need to do some laundry today. I was going to go for a walk but it looks so dark and gloomy here. It was very foggy earlier.
I'm going to bounce on my trampoline at least today to get the heart rate up for a while.
I'm just watching TV, watching a film, maybe play a bit more of my computer game and just relax today. I bought a new scented candle to make it feel more cosy.
I should do my trampoline now as I might feel too lazy later.7
