Purple -- I know what you mean about enjoying the rest. It's really just a case of making the best of a bad lot. Glad you are improved too.
Wednesday -- keep taking it easy. Don't do too much
I had a big bowl of the now re-pureed soup and passed through a sieve. I had tofu rice and mixed veg and was so starving after a small lunch. It was so good. I cook the tofu on a dry pan with garlic powder, ginger and garlic paste, soya sauce and chilli. It would have been better marinated but next time.
I'm still exercising daily and try to get 6 days per week. I've bought extra weights for the inevitable lockdown. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.6 -
Maisie_Moo said:Candy- hope Bonnie likes her coat , I did consider one for our dog when he was alive I think it was called a Thunderjacket.
As it was he wouldn't even wear the one I bought him for the winter , he used to stand and look at me as if to say what have you done to me !"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

I feel a lot better today. I started taking liquid melatonin (I sometimes use it for sleep so I have it at home) a couple of days ago as I read it is anti-inflammatory and it really seemed to work. I think it was much more effective than the ibuprofen I had previously been taking as melatonin seemed to relax all my muscles.
I have no pain at all on my right side of my chest now and far less pain on the left side of my chest and down my left arm. I got the naproxen last night and took my first one this morning.
My husband has three weeks off starting the last week of October as it is our wedding anniversary and his birthday. I decided to cancel the hotel that we were supposed to stay at in a couple of weeks as the situation with Covid seems too uncertain. Both my local area and the area the hotel is in will be tier 2. I called up to cancel the dogs boarding at the vet as well and we will mainly just stay close to home for the next few weeks. At least we will save some money!
We can watch some films on the horror channel (they gave us a month free after our trial) and maybe get into some of the box set series other people binge watch. I saw that there are a few vegan options on the Just Eat app local to us so we will do that instead of going out to a restaurant. I still have my hobby box too although I don't think my husband would be interested in doing a jigsaw puzzle together on our wedding anniversary.
I really need to start going out for walks once I'm back to normal as I feel stir crazy from staying in.
Not much fabbing going on, although I did get dressed and put on some makeup today.8 -
My dog hated her Thundershirt. I put it on her and she stood absolutely still and just kept growling softly. I think it was too uncomfortable on her so I donated it.
It's a nightmare when fireworks go off! I play music really loudly as well as wave sounds and usually have to put her in a corner and put a blanket over her head so she calms down a bit.2025 GOALS

Just popping on to comment on your a&e trip Wednesday. Glad to hear you are on the mend!
I also had it and ended up in A&e thinking it was my heart. The consultant told me it was an inflammation between where your ribs meet the sternum and the easiest way to check was to walk your fingers down the middle of your chest and when you hit the inflamed joint you will cry out. Ouch 😮 I’ve had it a few times but that was the worst time.
i noticed you were taking ibroprofen and just wanted to say to make sure they have given you something for your stomach to take with it. I took it on Dr advice, only the correct dose and always with food and after just over a week I developed a stomach ulcer. I then had a prescription for something to take with it. Take care xx:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j8 -
Good Morning lovely ladies.Poor Bonnie. She looks so miserable.😂🤣.Wednesday....hope you are feeling better now.Feeling shattered today. Have been on granny duties nearly every day this week. Much as I love it, I do find it pretty exhausting. I've pulled a muscle in my back which doesn't help, 😂. Having a day off today, so just going to play catch up. Nip to Aldi's later, just for some fresh produce and call in the garden centre for some compost. Need to give the car a run because I haven't driven it for a while.New cooker fitted, looks good. Also treated myself to a new kitchen rug, to help disguise the tiles. There's absolutely nothing wrong with them, I'm just not keen on the colour. It seems really extravagant to rip up a perfect floor just because I don't like the colour, especially as there is a complimentary good quality laminate floor in the dining area. I am toying with the idea of painting them but for now I am just putting down large rugs. Warmer too for the winter.Have had a little spend, making the most of the amazon prime days. Bought vitamins, some make up, moisturisers and serums, so all stocked up.I agree with Clippy-girl......be careful about taking Ibruprofen for any length of time without also taking a stomach protector.10

Sorry you had that experience as well Clippy Girl. I am always quite careful about ibuprofen. I took 2 tablets Sunday, 6 on Monday and then 2 on Tuesday so not many at all. My GP that gave me naproxen gave me lansoprazole as well to protect my stomach. I think today will be the last day I need to take them, luckily.
I have switched to my soft stretchy bras as I thought that my normal bras must be rubbing in the wrong place where the inflammation is. That seems to have helped too.
Sugarbaby - well done on the weight loss. I have gained a few pounds back the past few days as I haven't been moving at all!
I ordered some new lounge wear on Amazon prime day and it is arriving today. I only bought one pair to check the sizing and then I will order more if they look okay on me. I have ordered some scented candles as well as I thought if we have to be inside so much we may as well be cosy.
Today will probably be more sitting around, snacking and watching YouTube.I think I will feel better enough to go for a walk at the weekend.

Happy Friday Fabbers
Lots of great fabbing work going on, keep it all up.
I'm currently sitting on the sofa, in my one mile wear, working away. No exciting purchases or plans in my world. I have a cashflow problem until I get paid, because I started a new job, so I'm having to keep a low profile (away from anything that involves money).
