Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)
Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself.

savings I can imagine what a rush it must be to get sorted before a 6 week lock down.Sainsbury’s TU clothing starts today. I have just placed an order for some PJs and undies for DS and some winter boots for DD.8

Good Morning lovely ladies.SFT good luck with the potential lockdown. Very wise to prepare for it. I think that's the best we can all do, be prepared, get organised and hope for the best.Fabbing may sound frivolous in such uncertain times but I Have come to learn that it really Is good for us. It's not vanity it's about our physical and emotional well being. Lockdowns can take a high toll on our physical and mental health so we need to be vigilent in taking care of ourselves. We always do it for our loved ones, we just need to make sure we put in the same time and effort on ourselves.Reading your posts has reminded me to dig out my light box. In my case I'm not sure how effective it is, in fact I didn't use it at all last year. I don't normally suffer with SAD as such but then I've never had to face a winter in lockdown so I guess using a lightbox will do no harm. So far I'm managing to get out and about each day, even if it's just a short walk. So far the weather has been kind but then it's only October........who knows. And I have now bought some vitamin D To add to my regime.I have got some nice little projects lined up to keep me occupied and now I have my fab new cooker I'm looking forward to a bit of domestic goddessing....😉. I had a little splurge and bought some smart new Kitchen accessories, kettle, toaster etc, and my youngest son has given me his fancy coffee maker because he has just upgraded his kitchen too. I just need to sort out a kitchen island now and some new crockery and ovenware.Clotheswise I'm ok for the moment. I have been reading quite a few blogs and looking at You tube and I think it's time I rethought my wardrobe again. 😂🤣. I have decided I am going to get rid of one of my fitted wardrobes and turn what is now a dressing room into a proper study Despite regular edits I still have so many clothes I don't wear and I think as I approach my next decade It's a good time for a rethink. I am going to have a major purge after Christmas. And when I restock I am going to adopt a less is more approach. 😉. I will never be a true minimalist as such but I still have far too much stuff, including clothes. So I will use this winter and any covid restrictions as an opportunity to really get down to some serious decluttering.Stay well and safe everyone. And keeeeep fabbing,9

Meant to say......I'm upping the skin care, trialling some new products I bought on amazon. I have just done a skin peel, aiming for twice a week. Have also started using a retinol serum at night, only very mild to start with because my skin is very sensitive. I think my new regime is starting to work. Whilst I don't miraculously look 20 years younger - if Only😂🤣.....my skin does look much brighter and has a nice healthy glow. So the extra effort is paying off.I could do with a hair cut but not sure if I'll manage it just yet, it has grown so quickly, unfortunately it doesn't grow thicker, 😂🤣. Hey ho, at least I have hair.8

Helen what products are you using in your skincare.
I'm still using The Ordinary and am happy with the results. I've heard good things about Retinol and its something I eventually want to introduce into my routine. Both my Mum and sister said that my skin was looking good recently, so I guess my routine is working.
After I dropped the children to school, I did a cheeky trip to Sainsburys before I started working from home to check out the TU clothing event. I picked some some jogging bottoms for DS and some treggings for DD, saving £5 on both.6 -
Honestly it was not too bad getting organized. Its just a bit hard to have no gym and full cupboards. I have to make greeting exercise a priority as sleep is gone terrible last 3 nights. Its probably some reaction6

Happy Fabby Friday
I'm working from home today, so its back in my trusty 1 mile wear. Half term is next week, so I'll have the children at home with me, which means I don't really have to worry about getting them up for school and they will be happy to potter about at home.
I'm starting to get annoyed with the weather. Up until a few weeks ago, it was rainy, but warm, but now its sunny but cold. I always struggle with knowing what to wear when the weather is like this, particularly as the weather can change throughout the day.

Not much fabbing going on lately on here?
Where is everybody?
I am getting into gaming and my husband has bought me a couple of horror computer games. Well, I need something to do while I'm indoors so much. I have also bought a few picture frames and have been displaying some of my husband's vinyl collection on the walls. I am going to string up some fairy lights later to make it feel more festive.
I have 6 paper books I need to get through too. One is Becoming Bulletproof.
Former Secret Service Special Agent Evy Poumpouras shares the insights and skills from one of the oldest elite security forces in the world – to help you prepare for stressful situations, instantly read people, influence how you’re perceived, and live a more fearless life. From gruelling training to clandestine interrogation rooms, to protecting the President of the United States of America, Evy shares rare behind-the-scenes glimpses while also exploring the psychology of human behaviour and the strategies used by the best negotiators. Evy demonstrates how we can learn from these experiences to heighten our own natural instincts to detect BS, develop grit and become the most resilient and powerful version of ourselves.Becoming Bulletproof: Protect Yourself, Read People, Influence Situations, and Live Fearlessly by Evy Poumpouras
I ordered some more Lumene Nordic moisturiser as I am running low. It is a gorgeous sunny day here. I had to change out of my jumper yesterday and put on a lighter top as I was too hot!

I have the garden doors open and I'm blasting out music.
