Hello Ladies.
I haven't had the best time lately. I had to go to hospital by ambulance last night as I had the symptoms of a heart attack. I know I am (fairly) young but it runs in one side of my family at a young age to have a HA. It turns out it wasn't a HA but an inflammatory response called costochondritis in my muscles. I'm wondering if it is to do with the flu jab I had this week. I used to have fibromyalgia and I also had costochondritis and I had to have an ECG back then too.
Anyway, I feel okay now and I'm just on painkillers. I'm not feeling very fab but I'm enjoying reading your comments.
Cute about Bonnie needing a coat Candy!
Lol, btw, Maman that made me laugh about Dominic Cummings and his eye test.7 -
Hello Ladies,
I cooked a delicious carbohydrate free dinner tonight. Chicken and vegetable stir fry with hot panfry sauce.

Wednesday sorry that you had such a dramatic time with your health last night, but you must have been relieved that it was not a heart attack. Take care of yourself. Hugs to you7

Sorry Wednesday , relieved that it wasn't a heart attack. Look after yourself.Sugarbaby, that stir fry looks delicious. I made chilli con carne yesterday, had the left overs today8

Glad you're ok Wednesday. I suffer from costochondritis too. It can be a bit scary at times because it can be hard to tell it apart from a HA.Take care of yourself.10

Thanks guys.xxx
LL - yes, you are right it does feel similar to what I imagine a heart attack feels like. I had a lot of pressure on my chest. I know other women online with fibromyalgia who have had the same condition. I suppose it is to do with inflammation in your body.
It felt like I had slept on my arm funny as well and as it was my left arm the paramedic was worried. It was better to get it checked out with my family history.2025 GOALS

Good morning lovely ladies.Wednesday. You did right to get it checked. At least you have peace of mind now. You know what you are dealing with.I know you aren't supposed to give medical advice but I'm going to here because I think it's important. The first time it happened to me I rang 111 and was told to go straight to A&E. They kept me in and I had a barrage of tests. They told me the symptoms were indistinguishable from a HA. Only the tests can help them determine what's happened, The main difference is that HA leaves scars on the heart, costochondritis or Stress Attacks dont. Although agonising, they don't damage the heart. The consultant told me if I felt it was happening again, I should take a soluable aspirin.
two reasons for this........
if it is a HA or blocked artery it will help thin the blood and might buy you time until you can get help. If not a HA asprin will still help because it will help reduce inflammation and ease the pain.Speaking of inflammation......for about 2 weeks now I have been taking turmeric tablets on the advice of the chiropractor. It's early days but I think they are helping. Although my shoulder is still bothering me I do feel that in general my muscles and joints feel a lot easier, especially my knees. I didn't use a step counter but I was able to go for a quite a long and brisk walk on Sunday without any ill effects. I walked for a good hour and a half. Definitely a big improvement.Beautiful morning here. Blue skies and sunshine. 😎. Slept like a log too so it's one of those "feels good to be alive mornings".8 -

Yes, I took an aspirin before I got in the ambulance. I had been texting my paramedic friend and he was telling me what to do.
A woman online said the same thing about turmeric. I just saw they have a good deal on tablets on Amazon Prime day so I'm going to get some. It's mixed with black pepper that is meant to help absorption.
I just had a bath and got back into my pyjamas. The GP has given me naproxen as that is supposed to be better than just ibuprofen. I might look for some pyjamas on Prime too. I'm just going to stay in and watch YouTube after that.
I've watched so much YT since March!
