When I had my new bathroom fitted last year I wanted new face cloths to match . I saw a pack of large baby muslins in grey and white in Aldi (pale grey, white and patterned with tiny sloths). I made 12 face cloths really cheaply , hand hemming them. They're fine with my face wash for getting my makeup off. I do agree though Wednesdsy, some mascaras are really difficult. Ironically the one I like best (Benefit They're Real) is the hardest. ☹️7

Oh, thanks Sashy (I do like those dresses!) and Chanie. I will buy some of those as they seem like a very good idea.
I do actually have a mesh bag that I use for my bras as I bought some Figleaves ones and the wires kept coming out in the wash and ruining them and the mesh bag seems to help since I bought it.5 -

I can't remember what mascara I used to use, annoyingly. I will have to go through my past Superdrug orders.2025 GOALS

I much prefer the soft feeling of a muslin cloth. Flannels are too rough for me. 😉 My Grandma used to use a piece of real flannel! Didn't do her any harm although grannies grew old much earlier back then. 😁5

Wednesday what about something like this
https://www.superdrug.com/Make-Up/Makeup-Remover/Face-Make-Up-Remover/Superdrug-Studio-Make-Up-Remover-Cloth/p/770786
there are other brands that do these type of face cloths as well.4 -

Joining in with the tea strainers. The one on the left is useless. The one on the right is my latest try., more traditional. Not used it yet so can't comment.Apparently you can now get plastic free teabags. I use Yorkshire Tea, also PG tips are plastic free. Not sure of which other brands.6

They look good Chanie. I did use those cloths for a while as I remember buying them from Amazon.
I just had some brunch and I need to go through my kitchen cupboards and reorganise. I'm going to take everything out and look at how I can rearrange stuff. I did stock up on tins of beans recently as I couldn't get any online during lockdown. I eat a few tins of beans a week being vegan. I'm going to go and start that now.
It's a lovely sunny day here.I'm going for my walk afterwards.

Well good Morning lovely ladies. It's a lovely crisp bright autumn day here so I shall be getting out and about.....A nice walk and some pottering about in the garden. I won't risk the shops just yet now until after the new baby arrives. I am pretty well stocked up and am just adding some fresh stuff to my sons weekly delivery. I do prefer shopping myself because I like to browse but hey ho, it's not much longer now.I have done some online shopping this week........which reminds me I need some mascara and mouth wash....thank goodness for Amaz*n Prime. 😂. I have ordered a tens machine for pain relief. I have had one for ages and can recommend them but I have just treated myself to an upgrade, it does not just Tens for pain but also muscle stimulation and gentle massage. I really miss my chiro treatments and the odd massage so I think it is worth try.I occasionally resort to Flarin (Basically Ibruprofen but with added stomach protective coating). At £10 for 30 tablets, they are outrageously expensive but, more to the point, I really don't like resorting to drug therapies. Most pain medications lose their effectiveness over time as the body adjusts to them. I think it's far better to address the cause of the pain rather than simply mask it.Wednesday.....I have been in book buying mode too. I know I said I wouldn't but I just can't be bothered with the hassle of libraries at the moment. Ours are operating on a click and collect basis and I'm too impatient to be bothered with all that nonsense. I have ordered a couple of real books, both new and used copies from amaz*n. I have also downloaded some for my kindle and of course I make full use of the free magazines and books I have with Prime membership.And......whilst I was messing about, I discovered my prime membership includes music.......who knew.😂. So now I'm happily working out how that works and listening to new to me artists as well as old favourites.Maybe this lockdown milarky this winter won't be so bad after all.Other than that, no real news. Still exercising, maybe not every single day but on average about 5 days a week. Still doing my best to eat healthily but not actually counting my WW points.Stay well my lovely friends and keeeeeep fabbing. Going to give myself a face peel later.8 -
Maman Exeter seems to be having a rough time. The Vice Chancellor was on the local news last night and they have sent some students home for breaking rules and they are going to have to go through the disciplinary procedure if they want to return. I do feel for kids, my teenage GS is going a bit stir crazy, he was fine in lockdown but he seems to find this harder to deal with. Lockdown was nice and simple but now some of his friends seem to have too much freedom and his mum is very strict so it seems unfair to him. We aren't bad in my town but it is going up, lots of Exeter commuters and kids travelling to sixth form so I suppose it is inevitable.
I've just cut the back lawn, I have been putting it off so it was hard work and I'm just having a break before doing the front. I'm starting to hate grass.
I didn't know about plastic and tea bags, I don't know if I can be bothered with loose tea. I use baby flannels from Boots for cleaning make up off, they are a few years old but I also do the drop them in a bag and then throw them in when I'm doing a wash.
DH had a fall last night so that isn't good either, he is going to see doctor this afternoon.5
