thanks ruby that does mke me feel slightly better One advantage of Mr Cheery being rather older than me is that we couldn't extend the term too far into my old age because they assumed he wouldn't last that long So even if it does run for the full 25 years (which hopefully it won't) I'll still only be 62

Oh @Cheery_Daff we're the same with a whacking great mortgage....£270k. It makes me feel a bit ill thinking about it but I'll keep plodding on with overpayments chipping away at it.

I live alone and I have overflow plates! Actually a whole crockery set still in the box “just in case”!  I also have 12 of everything (plates, bowls, side plates), bit over the top but great that I could go a whole week without needing to wash up! 🤣

I have a set of 4 plates, side plates and bowls just for me. But I do have a spare kettle (pristine in box), two sets of cutlery, three teapots, more mugs than I want to admit. I... haven't even moved in yet...

For the record, I have one set of cutlery (minus one teaspoon), 4 bowls, 3 side plates and now 5 dinner plates 😀
