Everything has to earn its keep here, I only have room for things which will be used!
Snow update: There was a tiny bit of slush on the surface of my car park when I got home, so it looks like we did have a spattering. It had mostly melted off my car by the time I left BF's and I only had to clear it off the windscreen (several bits managed to land in the top of my boots when I was swooshing it off 🙄). I've just been enjoying the snow picture Fortune posted on her diary, while currently being cooked and dazzled by the sun - I really should get off the sofa 🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

SC hope you are having a lovely weekend. I am also a cutlery/crockery/spare chairs hoarder. We have to store some of it in our bedroom!3

Why not use the silver spoons? Is there a reason for it?
We had quite a lot of snow here, but I'm not used to snow so it might not be quite a lot in others' eyes!4 -
I'm still baffled that there such a thing as a 'set' of cutlery? I just know that I have more spoons than anything and not enough teaspoons. But I do have 6 tiny spoons that have cats at the end that 'hang' over your cup with their tiny arms!Mortgage start date Dec 2019 - £217,000 MFD Dec 2034

I'm with you, it's got to be used regularly or have a specific purpose so worth storing.....otherwise it gets sold / donated / binned. My husband jokes that he had better not sit still too long or one of those 3 things will happen to him 🤣South_coast said:Everything has to earn its keep here, I only have room for things which will be used!Current mortgage (1 Jun 2022): £289,501 - originally £351,999 got to love London sized mortgages!

Very chuffed that I'm able to add a signature, I like to think that is a tiny bit more motivation so I'm probably 1% more likely to stick to my plan now! Cant let the forum down, can I?!

That 1% could make all the difference 😀 Although it looks like you're doing alright already - £20k off in just over a year, not too shabby 👍Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
