Friday - long walk round to pick up the car and a trip to the gym in the evening where I did some faster (ha) shorter running on the treadmill then a long uphill (5% incline)

Saturday - walked to Lidl did the weekly shop and got a lift back with OH, and just back from a walk while she caught up on Corrie.

So that's 7/7 days over 10,000 steps - I can't say I've got into a routine, and I can't say it was hugely mindful or restful, and I haven't lost any weight off the back of it - but tomorrow we have plans for a walk and Monday I'm back in the gym so I'll keep it going for a bit longer.  Mainly out of stubbornness and because when I'm walking I'm not spending

Thank you @f0xh0les - I am enjoying the walking/running, its just not obvious how I will be able to fit it in - I walk about 100 steps a minute so 10000 is 100 minutes, and I don't seem to do much naturally (sedentary keyboard warrior type job apart from the odd webinar that I just have to listen to).  I need to find a natural slot but in the morning that would mean quite an early get up to be at work by 8:30 and/or not helping with supper/chores at the end of the day.  And I don't particularly enjoy going to the gym later.

I'll find a way, mainly it will mean trying to find a gap both before and after work say 7-30 to 8-30 and then between 5pm and 6pm.  Am enjoying listening to my music on the go - I used to do that for my commute which is mainly a thing of the past at the moment
