Well done on all the steps. Glad money is going in the right direction and that you have lots of pretty scenery to look at.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Back home now. Lovely break doing a bit of walking but mainly Tea, Shortbread and Tennis - with a couple of minor football matches (Germany and Ukraine) for entertainment. Sadly the weather turned seriously against us for the last few days so I am behind schedule steps wise. Also DD2 is visiting for a few days from London so will be chilling with her. I'm still aiming at 10000 a day for July, but I just made it a lot harder for myself.
Nothing else to report really - enjoyed a break from the diet, but didn't go wild - FIL is quite modest in his tastes so we didn't do a lot - a pizza and some Tablet Ice Cream (Tablet is Scottish fudge - made with condensed milk and a bit crumblier than English Fudge)I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Your break sounds good. Tablet sounds even betterIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

It was nice DIA. You can often get Tablet in English fudge shops, so next time you are by the seaside you might consider it as a treat. But it is very sweet so maybe to be avoided if you are eating well. That said it keeps forever so if you have willpower its not the end of the world to get 100gI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

10k steps/day is a great aim I also try to stick to that. I'm aware research now says not the be all and end all but gives you a target to work to / makes me think I'll get up and have a bit of a walk between jobs when I check my phone and it's on something like 2.5k for the day ha. Know you're looking to lose weight/ keep fit and it's a good way to stay healthy imo and easy target to work towards in terms of being a round number.
Also never heard of Tablet - will be very sweet having been made with condensed milk though lol. 100% my son would love it!3 -
Thanks !!
Tablet is basically slightly crunchy fudge - its essentially the same but I enjoy the texture and the flavour which is a little less creamy. Not good for the diet though which is kind of going sideways at the moment,I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
