@Sarahwithlove - I must apologise I meant 40000 rolling week average not day. I am sorry if I gave the impression I was some form of treadmill junkie

Hahaha OK fair enough. I did think it was rather impressive to be 40k a day. I'm starting the 1m step challenge on 1st July for diabetes UK and that's average of 10800 a day.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7200

Very good. I'll have a look at that challenge - 3 months over summer could be very good.I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Busy day in the garden. Trying to get on top of the mowing, including a long strip outside our house that isn't ours, but no one else does it. Managed to do 12,000 steps - but my fitbit categorised it as riding a bike. which made me laugh. So that's 43000, for the last week, despite being very busy W, T and F and not even hitting 1,000. I will walk to the gym again tomorrow and do a gentle run and use some of the other machines, and then walk back. Then I'm going to watch the football in the afternoon outside with friends, although it all seems a bit surrealI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

lovely day today, it was so bright early that I just went for a long walk (10000 steps) and binned the gym so that's me at 47000 for the last 7 days, with a few more to go as I need to water the pot plants
football was good - watching with friends and having a beer was better - almost normal except for being outsideI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Another long walk avoiding the Gym after work gets me to 50000 over the last 7 days. Last Tuesday was a monster though over 12000 so I will have my work cut out to match that. May just have a bash first thing to get a good start to the day.
Thank you SH yes Mr Balanced at the moment, well at the weekend anyway, during the week work/life balance needs a bit of attention.I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Back under 50000 as I only had time for half my walk this morning, and gentle pottering around after work didn't add that many, but Weds Thurs and Fri should allow me to improve as I was under 1000 each of those days so as I surge past that I only need 7000 a day to get to a 70000step week. That said - its a lot of time per day to be walking, but I must learn to value it for its health and fresh air benefit. Weds will be a scorcher than dampness sets in and I may be back in the gymI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
