yes the pub was great, although a couple of pints sat in the sunshine late afternoon significantly dented my energy !! We were planning our mid-week long weekend - which will involve food, drink a bit of culture and a lot of walking about - should be good.I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Jealous of your mini-break although I enjoyed mine when I did mine too. Have fun!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

sorry everyone thought I had posted earlier.
Today was my true 15/15 - I lost count somewhere. I did a long (10km) sunny morning walk, but my fit bit conked out 3/4 way round, but still enough to get well over 10K by the time I had mowed the lawn this afternoon.
Mini-break will be fun, just need to make sure I do an early walk on the days we are travelling - as I'm not sure out friends will be happy to join me in doing a long ambling loop

well sadly day 16 didn't happen - in the end a decision between helping a friend for a lot of the afternoon and then catching up with work until about 5 minutes ago to catch up meant I had to prioritise.
I will still aim for 10,000 average in August, but its not going to be perfect. sad, but a little relieved TBHI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

safely arrived up North. just going for a wonder - not quite sure if it will be long enough, but it will be close (and I'm on holiday) - happy hour cocktails and dinner then a film.I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

so 16/18 on the 10k steps/day challenge. Tuesday didn't quite happen with the driving and settling in and catching up with friends, but made 8000 - yesterday was well over with a big walk around then the gallery and shops - more happy hour cocktails, and a HM curry in the flat. a nice balance between treat and MSE.
will be home today but trying to fit in a NT property on the way down and wonder round, but I think you need to book and we haven't. Anyway can always catch up when we get homeI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Did you get to the NT place? They like you to book but it isn't always necessary.
16/18 for the amount of steps you've been doing is fab. I am at 75089 steps for the month - so currently doing slightly better than July. On top of that I did a whole pilates class... have to start somewhere...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

So no visits yesterday, it was just too wet to stop, so we just got home and crashed. I went out for a walk but it just got heavier and I ended up watching telly and peaking at 5000 steps.
Today i had more get up and go and did a 4 mile run on the treadmill in just under an hour which is my quickest although still slow. So now am 17/20 for steps and still averaging over 10000 for August
OH Pay day today so am safe now until end of month and my payday. Not looking like I will be able to clear CC3 at the end of this month as although the various pots are filling up, just a little too tight for comfortI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
