Are you finding the gym? Do you work with a trainer? If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Hi DIA - no I don't work with a trainer. Although my DS does, with great success, and he is going to pass on some wisdom when he joins me in the gym. I'm not very good at being told what to do, and my life has too many elements of randomness to commit to that sort of thing.I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

re CC3 is the 0% running out? If it is get it clear asap if not no need to worry about it mate especially as you've the cash to clear it.

you're right mate. I'm overthinking it - 0% goes into 2022 so no hurry. I took out the CC3 0% card to do a no cost balance transfer by instalments from CC2 - replacing my car in January took the balance up , and basically that's the balance remaining now (I drive a £4K car - a nearly 10 year old estate). My finest car was an x-type when there was such a thing as a company car - but ended up being very expensive on BIK - although it was fun. Now I just make bangernomics part of my eccentricity and save a fortune (been lucky-ish with servicing/repairs)!.
My FIL had to sell his car, and got more for it than we would for all the cars at our house, me / OH / DS+GF / DD1 when she visits!. Sorry as a family I'm not sure if this is the height of green sustainability or the depths of toxic car culture - I'll work it out!I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

24/29 - in three instalments today, spectating at a local sporting event but walking up and down a lot, and then an open air picnic with friends, and then finally a quick loop round the local park. very overcast but not actually wet, and therefore quite pleasant
much the same tomorrow I think!!I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

25/30 - got up early and walked out of the town to the next village (just under 3 miles there, and 3 miles back - just over 10k steps). I walked up to the village sign which I tapped and then turned round.
Have got some work work to do this afternoon, but its a bit glum out so I don't mind and I am going to make Friday my BH (busy period will be over then). Maybe if its not too glum try for a sneaky day by the seaside but that's a bit of a trek so forecast would have to be pretty positive before we set out!!
Got paid back my OH charity expenses (she buys extra items for local food bank type thing) so that will go off CC3 today along with regular payment plus a little more leaving it under £3K with options next monthI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

25/31 - Work won again today. I'm not even at a 1000 steps yet, but I will go and stomp around the house a little bit. But my average for the month is >10000 which was my main goal, getting more out of /31 would have been nice though
Not going to do September, so this diary can return to its day job

True, but its just started raining, so I am indulging myself with a quick catch up and clearing some things off my to do list
Had an hour earlier on my own to fill, so I went out for a brisk walk whilst it was mainly sunny and got my steps done.
Am now just going to do my budget and retrospective for August. Then some lunch and back to chillingI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
