Thanks both.  £7k a day sounds a lot better

Here is my report from Monday 27th.
    • Steps:  425K/2.5million steps this year - 3 days ahead of target - Max on Target Streak 12
    • Weight -2 lbs off over last week so 10/24 for target 1 (Under 17st)
    • Exercise - 5km in 48'52" on treadmill  (1 min down) - 2km in 9'54 on the C2 Rowing Machine (not doing atm) - been a bit slack
    • Savings - £1500 / £10,800 - just juggling holiday costs so a little behind schedule
    • Retirement-Day - 240 AWDs (Actual Working Days) to go
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine

Have managed to blow my steps emergency fund.  To the point where I am now only just ahead of average

An odd mirroring of my behaviour when I have a surplus of funds - which is why I am trying to lock everything away as soon as I can even if it causes some juggling.

    Live and don't learn - that's me

You are too hard on yourself. You are still doing more steps than the average person - you are mortgage neutral and still have some savings - and you are still working. You still have time.

I do know that @savingholmes - and thank you for the reminder. :star:   Was just a bit ironic I had got myself a steps cushion that should have lasted a lot longer and literally sat in my chair and watched it deplete!!

Today will be more active - doing some leafletting and then coffee and cake with OH and a friend who is having a genuinely hard time at the moment

I think we all succumb to letting such buffers run away from us at times.

Enjoy the coffee and cake 🍰

Just caught up and your holiday sounded lovely. Cornwall out of season really is stunning.
    Your activity is excellent.

    Thank you SH and DIA.

500 steps short of average so far today - lucky I got some in over the weekend as its been dreadful around here for the last few days.  A few chores will see me over the line
