Have managed to blow my steps emergency fund. To the point where I am now only just ahead of average
An odd mirroring of my behaviour when I have a surplus of funds - which is why I am trying to lock everything away as soon as I can even if it causes some juggling.

You are too hard on yourself. You are still doing more steps than the average person - you are mortgage neutral and still have some savings - and you are still working. You still have time.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I do know that @savingholmes - and thank you for the reminder.
Was just a bit ironic I had got myself a steps cushion that should have lasted a lot longer and literally sat in my chair and watched it deplete!!
Today will be more active - doing some leafletting and then coffee and cake with OH and a friend who is having a genuinely hard time at the moment

I think we all succumb to letting such buffers run away from us at times.
