May I say how thrilled I am to see 'roister' coming into wider use! Is it really as posh as suggested up-thread?! I do smack my lips over it, I must confess but that's because I find words lead me to alternative universes at times....1

I'm not sure about posh Humdinger.
However I feel Roister is posh as although noisy and inconsiderate Roisterers are tolerated / even looked upon with favour. Whereas Rowdy is exactly the same behaviour but carried out by not posh people and is therefore frowned upon and possibly bought to the attention of the boys in blueI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Glad you are enjoying your holiday in our little corner of the world. You have been lucky with weather although we have been up in London for the last few days so actually I don't know what it has been like at home. Am already at this weeks target (3 days to go), averaging 10K for my holiday and am now very nearly on target for 3m this yar if I can keep 8500 a day rather than 7000 which isnt unreasonable. On my 2.5m target I am 5 days ahead so I could have some sofa days !!I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Thanks SH. Was away for 11 days including travel days and a day in the middle which was a work from holiday home day (pre-planned and unavoidable and why we went for a week and a bit to make up). Of those 11 days I made 7K every day. I made 10K every day except travel down day and WFHH day. I am still slightly short of 3m/year pace but won't worry about that, just am very comfortable I am a week ahead of my 2.5m/year targetI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
