Pinterest is dangerous vulpix! I have a long list of things on a pinboard thanks to mindless browsing!
I've finished one Christmas t shirt 86/52 and only have the hems to do on another, and then a neckband and the hems on the last one. I've also hunted out a scissor sharpening person to get all my sewing scissors back in to good shape; some were my godmothers and are either blunt or too stiff to use, so hopefully will be able to get them sorted. My own fabric scissors feel a bit blunt too, so will get them sharpened whilst I'm at it!Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

I have finished two of the stray UFOs 88/52! A boxnof fabric scented hearts sewn and stuffed (7, but will call them 1 for the count), and the Christmas stocking. I sat and sewed 6 of the hearts whilst watching the crown yesterday afternoon, and felt much, much better. Hand sewing is a lot more relaxing than machine sewing, so I will put together some more hand sewing projects for in the evenings and naptimes. I've got some cross stitch kits and some peter rabbit quilt/embroidery bits to have a go at, so once I've finished the mouse pin cushion, they are up next!Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

I would love to get my fabric scissors sharpened emsi. They are about 40 years old!
I enjoy hand sewing far more than machine sewing. It is something you can do whilst watching TV.
Well I had all my craft things out so I could put the sewing machine away. All sorted, like with like.1 plastic box full of wool and one banana box full of fabric. All the incedentals in a vanity case and an old satsuma box.Tomorrow I will sort all the incedentals, ribbons, bits of elastic, beads, etc.I have some zips that I salvaged years ago,I think they could go in the bin. I have no ufo's.There is a cross stitch kit which I might have a go at in the new year.
I put some more stuffing in a Christmas cushion I made a few years ago.Uses up stuffing.yay.I also made the Rudolph pom pom wreath.I LOVE IT.
After my sorting tomorrow I intend to make a felt Christmas tree (pinterest) then I will hang up my needles until after Christmas. Oh my husband picked up 3 calendars today reduced to 50p each.I will print off pictures of our cat doing stupid things and stick over the calendar pics. My 3 kids will enjoy that. That is it after that.Time then to concentrate on cooking Christmas treats.

Oooooh everyone has been so busy. I’ve not done masses. But I have put up my tree.I’ve put out masses of books. Finished a pen (I know sad - but normally they’ve been robbed before they’re finished). I’ve also cut a mount board for a pic I bought ages ago. It came in a frame but had a bit of water damage so I’ve covered it up. I’m pleased with this effort and it went better then I thought it would. It’s a vintage Schweppes advert. Very kitsch.I’m never making my target this year. But I’m trying.I hope you’re all sorted for Christmas. Xxxxx

Today I’ve put uk the Schweppes picture. And then went to refram another picture in an upcycled picture frame. However I realised the pic in it was a hand drawn chalk pastel image so I cleaned the frame up and put this back in. It’s been hung as well.I’ve also picked uk some embroidery thread and completed another section. So another four to add

Total 43 I think.I can't count the felt cone Christmas tree as I have run out of tiny glass beads.Only need about 20.I think I will try to dismantle it tomorrow and take some beads off from places where I have been too generous! Forgot to say as well as the calendars I need to reupholster a storage foot stool I got off FB before Christmas. Then that is it,really is.
I am surprised that I have produced at least 43 craft items in the past year.I will join you all again next year, you never know I may be able to chuck out the little clementine box because I have used its contents.Where has all this ribbon come from? I don't remember buying it!
Merry Christmas to you all,see you next year Vxxxxxxx:1 -
I finished off a very cute little mouse pin cushion 89/52 that came with a magazine some years ago. I had started to machine stitch, didn't get on well and stopped. I hand stitched the base on- doesn't look perfect, or very much like the picture, but it's still cute and functional. I suspect that spray starch was used liberally in the picture, especially on the embroidery thread whiskers!
I started a little cross-stitch card out of my big box of cross stitch. I keep telling myself I will treat myself to a lovely big one when I get all the little kits done, but then people very kindly buy me or give me more 😂
I might leave that to one side and try to finish my Peter rabbit panel, as it is so nearly done. The little guide on the instructions for my cross stitch says 4-5 hours, but I think Peter would be finished in an evening.Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

Wraithlady,Thank you.Would you believe I scrapped the whole thing, started again with new felt and used the beads in a less dense pattern.I like the finished tree, very tasteful, white felt and clear beads.Does anyone else find that felt these days is un feltlike? I have a felt needlecase i made at school when I was 11 and that felt bears no resmblence to H---y craft felt.Nearly done with the calendars,it has taken ages as I have had to cut the photos to size and mount them to cover up the original picture.Gave the pompom Rudolph wreath to DD2.Just the stool to cover/upholster now.I may have to buy some braid or something to finish the edges.I feel a bit odd not having the next make planned. We will see what 2021 brings.

Vulpix, I too find felt to be a bit odd feeling these days. It certainly doesn't feel like the fuzzy felt I spent hours playing with as a child!
The two Christmas t shirts for the grown ups are done, as are two more Christmas cards because I hadn't made enough 🤦♀️ 90/52Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025
