I have made an important decision.I am going to throw away the 3 kings wall hanging.I will never make it and to be honest I don't like it.I will keep the larger pieces of material.

Well done on the decision. Sometimes it feels so cathartic to just get rid.I’ve bought some thread. Twice. It was the wrong colour and then I managed to order the bloody wrong stuff again. 🙄🙄
I don’t know what to do. I’m scared to order again online. I keep seeing silver and getting grey.

Nimbo, I can't recommend any sadly as I've never looked for silver. Can you ask a supplier which thread they'd recommend if you were after a proper silver one?Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

I was just looking forward to something I could do by hand while watching tv in the evenings...
I hope you’ve all been busy.

It turns out I had a mare the other night cutting out pattern pieces. I didn't mirror image them 🤦♀️ so I've had to order more fabric. Thankfully still available! It just means I now have two sets of PJ bottoms to do!
I have two t shirts assembled, one Christmas one and one PJ top that just need trying on to check they fit ok before hemming. I've cut out lots more bits tonight, paying close attention to mirror instructions! A play apron for a friends son for Christmas (toddler painting aprons are too big to buy for a little 1 Yr old!), and 2 more t shirts. I'm all about the t shirts at the minute 😂
I've also started making a shirt I cut out in summer (oops)- it won't be suitable now, but might fit son next summer, and is a good practice for some gifts I'm thinking of making for upcoming friends babies!
I've gone through the stash and planned some future makes, some for me (!), and trying to resist treating myself to some more fabric to make some extra special bits with (my favourite fabric shop sells locally woven wool in gorgeous colours and it's part of a deal for their birthday 😬 must resist!)Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

I’ve not managed to make anything. But have finally got some silver thread. Yay. Cost me a little bit but it it’ll for a project I’ve started.I’ve started to sort out my front room ready for the tree which will be fun when it’s here as I’ve gathered way too much clutter. 🤣🤣
im glad people have been busy. And I hope it continues. I’m going to make a few masks for cracker fillers - not exactly fun but useful for people.

Scarf finished.Binned all the star pieces (60).Started to assemble the little nautical jumper from ages ago.I am thinking of putting my Christmas trees up too.I feel really down with the latest covid news.We will go from tier 1 to tier 3 because we live inbetween Manchester and Sheffield.I understand the reasoning but just feel blergh about it all today.
