Hi all, I managed to do some more of the Christmas Pots whilst watching the rugby this weekend. Slow but sure. nmm love your dahlia blanket. Yes you're right it's the Dune blanket and worryingly(!) it's now back in stock. Not planning to make MD cards this year as won't have time.
Had a bit of a spendy weekend as needed a few bits for this coming weekend away with the girls. We are off to Rye and I needed some new PJs and a couple of sweatshirt type tops. Blanket kit purchase will have to wait until payday at the end of the month. Oh and we also changed the car for a new to us VW. Other car had a warning light come on and it was getting to the stage where it wasn't cost efficient to repair it. Pleased with new car and repayments are affordable so a win win. Off to cinema tonight to see Military Wives (about the choir). Not DH's first choice probably but he really naffed me off on Friday, so he will just have to suck it up
Photo to follow.

Hi everyone,
Hope you are all well amid all the recent developments. Just feels like a really surreal situation we are in. DH and I have been wfh this last week. We are sharing the kitchen table as we don't have a study space. DD and DS2 'left' school on Thursday with A levels and GCSEs cancelled. DD very upset as this will affect her uni plans. DS2 taking it all in his stride. They cleaned DS2s bedroom yesterday and we had a family walk to the park in the afternoon. Six months at home is going to be very trying. DD has applied for a job at Co-op. DS2 is only just 16 so not sure what his chances are of finding work. I'm trying to get him some voluntary work but it's so difficult with the safeguarding element.
In crafting news(!) I have been doing some daytime crafting as my work is very sloooooow. Have the H R I S finished now, so onto C. I find it very therapeutic and lord knows we need it now more than ever.
Off to see the mothers today, but will leave gifts (planters from the garden centre) on the doorstep and speak from afar as both over 70. Planning a walk (at a distance) with friends tomorrow.
Stay safe, stay positive and keep well everyone.

Glad to hear you and your family are safe Coxy, I think we'll be ok here too, apart from Knit & Natter and a couple of exercise groups I was mostly in self-isolation already, haha all that's been cancelled now
I'm still working on my Dahlia blanket 39 rows now I think, I've started a Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy Pullover in light grey and I've still got my cross stitch to do, not had much time lately as i'm walking my neighbours dogs in the afternoon which is when I usually craft. I did complete a couple of projects last week a crochet Baby Yoda & Cradle, plus my mother's day card.
EDIT: Forgot to ask if you're JoGLE is still going ahead coxy?

Morning all,
Love the baby Yoda nmm and the Mothers Day card is pretty. I purchased cards this year that were impregnated with wild flower seeds, so after displaying you plant pieces of card in the garden. They were both pleased with their planters and are both doing okay for food and health.
I personally detest Mothers Day, just so commercial. Told my 3 ages ago I wasn't expecting anything. DD up and dressed for work but both DSs still asleep.
It's a lovely day here. We are foregoing the walk as had planned to socially distance at a NT garden. They are now shut, so I will go out for essentials and then we will wash the car and do some garden tidying. Will carry on with my cross stitching later.
Stay safe and well everyone.

Good morning all, hope you are all okay and keeping well. We 5 are doing okay. I went out for food supplies on Thursday (first time out of the house since Sunday) and did a short run early yesterday morning. Weather is beginning to turn here in Kent so will make the most of it today with a walk I think.
My Christmas Pots cross stitch is coming on a treat. Although I'm wfh I have lots of down time as usually when I'm in the office I'm the 'go to' person for practically everything. Folks are having to manage by themselves in these crazy times. I've finished C H R I S and T now. My fingers are not thanking me for the hours of stabbing however!
Will post a photo shortly.
Write back with news!!
