Ooh exciting nmm - do post a photo when you can :)
I have managed 2 (4) rows of the blanket this week. Had to go normal weekly food shopping on Monday night, and Tuesday night I went to get a few final bits of uni stuff with DD. Looked like a plague of locusts had been in Te$co on the bedding aisle - had to get pale grey single fitted sheets as no white ones left. Also go the last single duvet in the shop! Just some food to get tomorrow and we are sorted.
I went to Hobbycraft the other day to get a frame for a print, and noticed they were selling the Pretty Little range by Satsuma Street. Previously only available via her Etsy shop. I am planning to frame the ones I've done - New York, London, San Francisco and Sydney - and sell them for my JoGLE fundraising. Will be framing them in hoops with felt backing and ribbon. Original plan was to decorate the spare room with them, but doubt I will ever get around to that.
Work continues to be chaotic and I had my two meetings cancelled today. Wifi has been playing up at home, so probably just as well they didn't go ahead! DH going back to his office next week on a rota system - week in, week at home. He is quite looking forward to it - cheek!
DS2 has settled back into the school routine - although getting up at 6am vs 12noon has been a bit of a struggle. Only a matter of time before I expect his year group has to isolate - just making the most of him having some routine whilst it lasts.
Hope you are all going well.

Coxy, the framing on your pretty little stitches sounds lovely, i've still got my bauble wreath to frame from 2 years ago (i think). I will try and se the ball together at the weekend, managed 30 mins of The junction today i noticed a mistake so not much actual stitching done on it.

    Good morning all,
Early one (for a Sunday) but I'm awake so I might as well get up and appreciate the quiet at this time of the day!
So....DD has gone off to uni. We took her yesterday - just about fitted everything in the car lol. I was in charge of hanging up her clothes in the (small) wardrobe and boy were there a LOT of skimpy party dresses. I did remind her that we are heading into Autumn/Winter and besides, the uni has said no parties due to Covid..... She messaged from 'spoons last night - start as you mean to go on!
I am planning to visit her in two weeks time as it's around her birthday. DH will be away for the weekend with his mates, camping in Scotland (if new restrictions don't hamper their plans). Need to have the blanket finished and ready for 3 October. Tick tock, the pressure is now on  :o
DH returns to the office this week, and I am going in for the day on Tuesday to clear my locker - will obviously stay and work the day too which will be a bit weird. Have heard the mice have been rife since we quickly vacated back in March. I do not like mice eeeek.
We have the excitement of a tip run today - I can hardly contain myself. Hope you are all doing something much more interesting.

Not much done this weekend, i started sewing the ball together only managed half of the first set of 4, it's quick to do so shouldn't take long. I did make 2 of these Easy Bears, one as per the pattern and one with the stitch count halved as a friend wanted little huggy bears to post, again i've crocheted them but not sewn them together. I see a theme here  :D

Good luck with the blanket deadline coxy, you can do it !!!

    Hi all,
    I'm in the office....no mice seen...yet....
Managed two more rows of the blanket last night whilst finishing watching 'Des'. If you haven't seen it I would recommend. I will never look at David Tennant in the same way again :o We also watched Black Work at the weekend - starring Sheridan Smith. Very good too.
We have a few other mini-series to binge - I quite like it when it's only 3 or 4 episodes - my brain can't cope with these long American series!! Can't wait for Line of Duty to come back though - love it.
I will try to do another 2 rows tonight. We are having a weekend away (just DH and I) this weekend, so Friday and Saturday crocheting is out. The clock is ticking lol!
Have a good day all and send updates!

Ooh okay, no spoilers from me then nmm!! I have been a bit sneaky today. Went to KnK at the church as received a text late last night to say they were meeting. They now only meet monthly as only 4 of them. I took my blanket, laptop and headphones and logged into the church wifi when I arrived. Unfortunately the church office (with router) is right at the centre of the church with thick stone walls, so the signal was patchy at best. Felt a bit stressed about it, but luckily for me both bosses were in meetings all morning. Got back home at 12noon and only a couple of spammy type emails received. Did confirm that it wouldn't be possible to do again though. I'm on annual leave when they next meet so all good.
Managed 1 row of my blanket at KnK this morning! None done last night as was howling along to GBBO - such a tonic after the BJ announcement!
Hope everyone else is doing okay?

    Morning all!
Yes nmm it felt lovely to see my friends - not seen them since before Christmas. One of them had quilted a bedspread for her 18 yo grandson, using his childhood tshirts etc. It was amazing. He turned 18 just before Christmas and was diagnosed with cancer in March - so shocking. He is on chemo now and is doing okay but coupled with the C-19 outbreak it's been very hard for him and his Mum as they've had to shield. She was talking about it yesterday and I felt so awful for her. KnK is so much more than about the crafting!
I managed another 3 (6) rows last night, so 87/100 now completed. Will be zoom calling DD tonight and we are away Fri-Sun so may try to get a couple of rows done after the call.
Would love to move the furniture in my lounge but we have a large fireplace on one wall, so are very restricted. Hope you get used to your new stitching place!
