Coxy like nmm , I’m looking forward to the Dune blanket updates. Is that knitting or crochet? We’ve continued to get both are general waste and our recycling bins emptied as per the usual schedule. Very lucky as all the household recycling centres are closed in Norfolk. The brown garden waste, which we pay extra for, wasn’t emptied two weeks ago so DH suggested I pull it into the road today between our two parked cars and see if they empty it.
I’m back to working from home today but no internet available other than wi-fi. Luckily again DH is an IT technician otherwise I’ll be working in my phone and work IPad but won’t get much done. Fingers crossed. The junction looks very artistic. Is it the canal boat one?
Does anyone else jump about with their works in progress or are you strictly solo project people?

I have one big project on the go and then do cards in between, I was supposed to be doing 1 card a month, that hasn't happened yet this year :*  The Dune blanket and my Dahlia blanket are both free crochet patterns by the blog Attic24.

This is The Junction when its finished.

Oh that’s going to be lovely when it’s finished. I did google it and it is the one I’ve found. It’s like a painting. It’s nice to know how others work. I’ve followed Attic24 for ages but I don’t crochet yet. I’m planning to create 20 in 20 but I’ve not made a promising beginning. On the positive side my laptop frame arrived today. Very impressed with the whole service under the current circumstances and I think it’s going to really help my wrists and hands as I won’t be leaning over so much of the work to stitch. Thanks for the recommendation.

No worries let us know how you get on with the frame, my little tip to keep the fabric fairly tight is to use masking tape to hold it on the frame, I keep meaning to make some grime guards for it too.

Hi all, Latest progress from me. The colours on the photo don't do it justice though! I'm now trying to do the snow from left to right so that I do 'S' last. Something to look forward to lol!
Will hopefully do some more later after work.
I won't be starting the Dune crochet blanket until this is finished. I also have a Satsuma Street design to start on - Pretty Little San Francisco. Have done London, New York and Sydney so far. They are fun and colourful and I will frame them in hoops once done (have another 5 to do.....).
Hope you're all doing okay despite the restrictions on movement etc. We are plodding on here - it's the new normal.

    Hi all,
I'm making good progress with the snow, stitching left to right. I am currently under letter 'M' but I will run out of thread soon. It's not blanc but B5200 as I thought I had enough of it - clearly not. Will have another rummage in my stash later to see if there's any extra I missed the first time. After the base snow there are confetti single stitches between and above the pots, so this will take a lot of thread as I plan to sew off individually as they are quite spaced apart.
It's been lovely weather here this weekend, so have done a bit of garden tidying and had nice BBQ last night. Also got all the washing line dried which always makes me happy - it's the small things lol.
Ran 5k this morning in a record (for me!!) time, so I'm well chuffed with that. Roast chicken later and hopefully some more stitching this evening.
Hope you're all safe and well.

    Morning!!!
Another nice day promised here. I've been for a run - only 3k this morning. Managed 18k over 4 runs Sun-Sat last week so I'm well chuffed with that. Makes all the sitting around less depressing!
I looked through my stash again for the B5200 but no luck so went online to order some, plus the threads I need for PL San Francisco. Lots of places out of stock or not delivering at the moment, which is understandable. Anyway, found somewhere new and would hope to have the threads by next weekend, all being well. In the meantime I finished what I could, including pot 'S'. Just the snow to do now.
SIL (nurse) has tested positive for CV19 and is having to self isolate in a house of 7! Phoned her last night and she sounded really fed up, but not a lot she can do. Have recommended a couple of Netflix things to watch, including Afterlife which is fab.
She is also playing online scrabble.
Will have a look at the Dune crochet kit later - it's still in the spare room awaiting the unveiling! Might start that this afternoon depending how brave I feel :)
Hope you are all going well. Write back with news.....!

Just knitting button bands for nurses here at the moment so the stick weaved jumper is on hold yet again.
