Yesterday my parents joined us for Christmas dinner. We later amused ourselves playing charades and completing this year's Christmas puzzle.

Shortly we are going to my parents and being joined by my sister and family.

This is the first Christmas day my parents have hosted in nearly 2 decades as we have been host for the majority of that time. We are all contributing to the buffet so hopefully, they are not too stressed.

Hope you all had a lovely day yesterday. We had a a quiet time with just the two of us. Got lots of nice pressies. Mostly chocolate and books. I do love books.

I think today will just be a question of trying to put everything away and tidy up as best as possible.

Wow busy on here! Our plans today are very little! Playng with toys/gifts. Eating food we have in. going out with dog.

No more expectation family cooped up with hyped up children and alcohol in the mix always a recipe for conflict!
