For a moment I had visions on CLF having 24 attics, who knows how big a house that would be. Then I decided to google it and discovered it is the name of the pattern writers website. The images I've seen look superb. I wish I was talented enough to tackle something like that.
Phahaha if I had a house that big it would explain why I need to keep my outgoings small

Afternoon all
Still staving off my migraine - think I have succeeded
Awaiting imminent arrival of 2 year old GS who is staying with me overnight for the first time.
Not a very MSE day, as I have to admit to some food waste. I haven't been as on the ball as usual due to migraine / dealing with Christmas stuff, and I have had to give 2 sausage rolls, a few slices of terrine and 5 stale gingerbread people to the birds this afternoonAlso had to bin a mouldy orange. But I have managed to freeze apple sauce, braised red cabbage and leftover trifle sponges, and haven't spent anything, so not too bad overall I suppose. I do hate wasting food though!
Apart from that, I have managed to tidy up a bit, put away some stuff in the loft, strip and remake the spare bed and walk the dog.
Might try to check the banks before GS gets here, but realistically not much else is likely to get done.0 -

Hello everyone, I've not been on here for a few years and I am so glad to see this thread is still running. It sounds like you all had a wonderful Christmas, I had to work but now enjoying a few much needed days off and trying to get things organised for the new year. I've started a new debt free diary today and I'm determined 2020 will be the year I finally begin to sort myself out.
Today's plans include:- Find out exactly how much I owe
- Read more around CCA's
- Look at challenges I can join
- Check bank account
- Look for survey sites etc to join
- Sort budget and spending diary for January
- NSD
- Do some matched betting
- Enjoy much needed time off work
Hope everyone has the chance to relax and put their feet up at some point today.

Morning folks
Sounds like you have some lovely days planned. I'm not sure if I'm feeling too good today. I was so tired last night (after a hardcore day of doing nothing) that I was in bed by 8 and asleep by about 8.30. Only just got up now after waking at 8am and I feel like I want to go back to bed and sleep. That's never a good sign with me as I'm not a napper.
So today's list may be aspirational
:heartpuls B/L/D from stores
:heartpuls Make chilli - done
:heartpuls Put batch of black beans in the s/c - done
:heartpuls Put loaf of bread in the b/m - done
:heartpuls Do an hour at the allotment?! - unlikely as OH showing no signs of wanting to get out of bed yet (he was gigging last night). Def nope. OH has a nasty cold and feeling quite rough.
:heartpuls Crochet - done
:heartpuls Wrap last Christmas presents as didn't do yesterday - made a good start
:heartpuls General tidying - did some dusting! Topped up the bird feeders /washing away - done /strip bed - done etc
:heartpuls Check PMP - done
:heartpuls Do Bulk Powders order via MoreThan to get rewards cashback - done
Have a good one all

Tidy the drawer in the bedside cabinet and sort out my medication
Wrap New Year present of biscuits for next door neighbour
Start filling in next year's diary

Afternoon all
Running on caffeine today
Very little sleep due to DGS 3 (aged 2) keeping me awake. He slept quite a bit though! We have been busy all morning and thankfully he decided to go to sleep on my shoulder a short while ago. I managed to hoick him up 2 flights of stairs and put him in the travel cot I keep up there, with the baby alarm on.
Managed to take the dog for a walk, surprisingly both GS and the dog were well behaved. This enabled me to manage the ancient pushchair and the dog lead
Pegged out a lineful of washing, hope it dries a bit
And a small tidy round, GS helped by putting things in the bin (lots of things )
I need to feed GS when he wakes up, and his Dad will thankfully collect him later this afternoon
GS2's Mum (no longer my daughter in law, but she is still my grandchildren's Mum) texted to tell me that he had a car accident last night and wrote off his car  But thankfully he and the friend who was with him are both unhurt. They were very lucky by the sounds of itObvs GS 2 is much older - there are 4 girls in between him and GS 3
I had better find something to feed baby GS. He has food intolerances (according to Mum, but I am sceptical as this came from one of her alternative practitioners as opposed to a doctor or a dietician - where is that roll eyes smilie we used to have??) so I have to be careful what he has. It will be GF pasta, some ham and some sweetcorn I think.
Anyway, wish me luck and a good night's sleep tonight! :rotfl:0 -
