    Afternoon all :hello:

Not too much done again today, but WM & TD, plus DW have all been on, I've S&S in the kitchen and laundry room, waved off two dogs, been out to get DH his birthday cards and slippers (dogs have chewed his current pair).
I have made a list of things to do in January and I'm concentrating on the dining room to try and get everything finished. I've asked my friend's hubby to make me a buffet table for one wall from some oak worktop I bought when we kitted out the laundry room, so a bit of money saved there as we get mates rates :D

ASB - I sometimes think I'd be better of without my husband, as he is very controlling and old-fashioned, but I don't know where to start. Hubby No: 1 committed suicide when I said I was leaving, so I'm very hesitant even though I'm unhappy most of the time. Clearly, I'm not a wise woman either!

Just having a cuppa, have eaten all the left-over sausage rolls and am listening to all the males in my house shouting and arguing about Match Attack football cards...sigh...
  • I'm going into hibernation.

My six monthly 2" trim by Himself inexplicably turned into a 6" shearing.

It's horrific. And I can't even tie it back to hide it.

It's probably done the health of my hair no end of good - but I still absolutely hate it.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

    Evening all.

(((Hugs)) to asb xx Jojo xx YL xx Dizzy xx and anyone else feeling down, for whatever reason.

I am desperately tired now, having had a bad night's sleep (back to sharing DH's sleeping quarters, in order to leave the upstairs bedrooms free for DD&Co - and he chose an extra-hard mattress for his new bed which does not do my back, shoulder or knee any good at all - so, just like in the old days, I ended up spending half the night on the sofa, watching a couple of re-runs of The Repair Shop in order to relax enough to fall asleep). However, we have had a lovely family day, with a carvery lunch out, puddings when we got home, presents, and a splendid bring-and-share tea. The only downside was the absence of DS2 and DGS3 who are recovering from a very nasty virus.

I have already brought my belongings back up to my room, and somehow in between times I have decluttered the contents of another storage box and half a shelf of children's books, ready to take to the CS. I also talked to DS1 and DD about finding better places to store things we rarely look at, including my own family history papers. I really need to get rid of some of my college books and files. Perhaps first I could manage to declutter my college notes, which I am never likely to want to look at again. They take up about a 2 foot length of bookshelf. Then there are the contents of the lofts under the eaves and the cupboard on the landing. So my Flying priorities are already set for 2020.
