Hope you're all having a good day.

I have completed the first three items on Valli's list and am doing well with the fourth After 4 church services in 18 hours, followed by a walk with Rosie in the sunshine and a delicious dinner with DH, I have slept most of the afternoon

Just time to graze before CTM

I have to scrub the kitchen to death tonight.. and have a few bits still to wrap for tomorrow.. and my front room looks like a shop exploded in it.

OH's stepdad survived his quadruple bypass. I sent MIL flowers because I'm just nice.

I am so tired I could probably sleep 100 years!

Morning all

A belated Happy Christmas dear friends, I did actually try to pop in and see you yesterday but couldn't log in on my phone. DS started chemotherapy on Christmas Eve and wasn't too well yesterday. I may go and stay with him tonight.

For the first time in about 20 years I didnt cook Christmas dinner yesterday, we just had a buffet when we got back from hospital instead. I didnt miss all the preparation and clearing up at all!

Pigpen There is only three of us here and my LR looks like a bomb has gone off in there, tried to shuffle some presents around last night and it made no difference.

Had a great Christmas Day, lots of washing up though even though we used paper plates for the buffet in the evening. Watched the Gavin and Stacey special when they'd all gone home.

Not been up long, just having first cuppa. On my own today. Nothing much planned except walking the dogs, weather permitting.

Got some relatives coming over today, an Old English Bulldog arriving in half an hour and then the chaos will begin again. DH is still snoring as he had such a busy day eating and sleeping yesterday.

Lovely to see LameWolf popping in - festive dog snogs from my pack to you!

Morning all

Hope you had a lovely day yesterday. We had a nice quiet one, earlyish lunch then a bit of a walk before pud, followed by some TV and reading, bliss! I’m going to fly a little today as we are off out tomorrow... WM is swishing, will probably do 2 loads today.
We cut up the leftover turkey, some in to freezer for a later date, some for supper this evening and the rest will be made into a turkey and pasta bake, will do that this morning so again that can be frozen.

Pouring down here, hopefully will get out for a bit of a walk but it looks likely to be a wet one.

Happy Boxing Day everyone
Cold and wet day here, was going to try and go for a walk later, hopefully the rain will stop. WM is swishing, will probably need to do a couple of loads. Just about to have brekkie, think it’s going to have to be mince pies again haha.

I made a major mistake yesterday. I had planned to use a large Christmas pudding (we were expecting a friend to come for the meal) but in their absence I opted to heat up two mini-puds instead. Then this morning I realised that I couldn't have cold Christmas pudding for breakfast - I had to make do with stollen instead :rotfl:

My plans for today:
[STRIKE]- get up
- eat breakfast
- phone DS1 and DS2
- shower and dress[/STRIKE]
- Flying! WMx2 (so that all the aired stuff can be FUPA on Saturday before DD&Co arrive)
- lunch
- take Rosie for a walk
- read
- sleep
- do family history stuff
- evening meal of leftovers
