Depends i give them 9 out of 10 overall .

BT are not more expensive i find for what i want .

They are not cheap, currently 29.99 while vodafone is currently the cheapest at 17.45 with cashback or 23 without cashback.

But you do get what you pay for in general, but i draw the line at Talk talk and refuse to go with them what ever price they offer

Lodge a complaint on the ISPA website (check Google) and normally this will get you straight through to a complaints specialist

Oddly I can't see Vodafone listed on the ISPA website, either I'm being blind or they are not listed under V?

If you use Vodafones complaint page then in theory after eight weeks you can ask their ombudsman service to adjudicate.

    Yes, my apologies.

I had just assumed such a big company like Vodafone was a member. The only big player i knew who wasn't a member was Talk Talk.

You can ask for a deadlock letter if they can't resolve your complaint after 8 weeks then escalate your complaint to CISAS i believe who will then step in.

I am pasting the email I sent Uswitch about Vodafone.

    Hello,

"I used your service to switch broadband providers on 24 August. This was switching from TalkTalk to Vodafone. When I switched it was promised to me by Vodafone in the email I received that activation was going to happen 10 September. This never happened. Through communicating with literally 6 different people from Vodafone I eventually found out that there had been a problem made in the order and that activation will now take place 26 September. I have had to top up my phone with £35 credit so that I can tether it for internet connectivity. Vodafone sent me an email today clarifying the activation on the 26 September but had the wrong account number and the wrong landline number. I then quickly tried to rectify their mistake and communicated online with a Vodafone agent. At the end of this I am not feeling secure as to where I stand and if this is going to take place properly.

I would very much appreciate it if you intercede and make sure all is well. Otherwise I would like to know how I could cancel this contract and go with another provider. This is a matter of urgency for me. "

How do I get out of the Vodafone contract if I want to? What is the deadline for me to get out of it and the process..

    Much Appreciated

Please let me know if I can get out of the contract if Vodafone does not activate as promised on 26 September, and how to do this.

    Much appreciated

If you get out of your contract, consider it a lucky escape. I'm maxing out at 4mb (wired) at peak times.

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

The broadband was supposed to be active on the 10th , if I wait until their rescheduled date of 26th September and there is no activation , am I still covered by the 30 days? In other words does each changing of activation date on their part reset the 30 day escape window for me?

    Thanks
