Cooker collected today - it appears I've finally found the right place to get rid of stuff!
  • Decluttered an M&S Christmas pudding which has been sitting in my cupboard with a best before date of Feb 2018 😳. Was very nice and we’re all still alive though 😁
  • Is it ok to recycle xmas cards and sections of crackers into gift tags and then give them to charity shops?
I have way too many recycled home made gift tags!

I need to declutter... but haven’t been very motivated recently.

The less stuff I have the easier cleaning and tidying will be.

Worst areas are craft stuff and my wardrobe (containing 4 different sizes). Currently trying to declutter the weight and then should be able to declutter some clothes.... hopefully.... and some of the shoes I don’t wear anymore now that we don’t have a car and have to walk to the bus stop.
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?
  • Does anyone know the best way to declutter old wireless routers? I am getting a new one with my change of provider in the new year and still have one from the last time I changed.

  • Can I join please. Have done better than I expected this year and as my eldest daughter had left home I turned her bedroom into a storage (organised) and makeup room. She then came back and now I have boxes of stuff every where. Trouble is keeping the family on the same track 😂😂
Might not post often or count but will definitely check in lots 😃

    Happy New Year everyone x

    Okay

    I'm in !

52/52 as I am not good at daily stuff. So 52 bags out of house to charity or dump. Have the whole house to do plus 2 garages.

(Is this how we do this ? )

sounds ideal way of setting a target to me - we are drowning in clutter both inside the house, in the garage and in the garden. possible a little cheat but when the weather obliges I am going to count garden stuff (smaller stuff in the garden waste bin, bigger stuff/branches down the tip) -

Between now and XMAS 2020 - I am aiming to do 50 trips to the tip in my estate car as my main measure, but will be looking for a good sprinkling of charity shop and online sales to help on top.

keep me honest team- will endeavour to catch up any weeks I miss as have some holiday and a busy time at work early in the year

ETA: Changing target to 50 between now and XMAS 2020

  • 1 carrier bag of goods to charity shop. Early start but started.
Christmas presents put away and mending done and put away.
  • 1 carrier bag of donated goods to charity shop, and the Christmas presents put away. I packet of last years choccies eaten and a bottle of Baileys finished - 2 and a bit more bottles to go:rotfl:
I have started early but started.
As I have a large quantity of cleaning materials, clothes, toiletries ect I will only count those which I am not planning to replace.

Sack barrow returned to my brother. Sack of water softener salt ordered by mistake (I wanted dishwasher salt) offloaded onto my brother. Lots of yesterday's leftovers taken over for boxing day lunch and left behind :D
