I'm in, not counting but decluttering with delight, few bits chucked out today and will be getting rid of a few bits over the weekend.

    Hello all

Thus is well timed for me as I've just this week been sorting out under the bed in the spare room and binning/charity shopping most of it!

I would like to get rid of the bed as it's rarely used, but whilst I'm storing stuff underneath it getting rid is a bit pointless!

So I've got rid of all I can, plan to relocate other stuff into wardrobe in spare room. That way I can have a nice chair in there aswell as my office ( which it already doubles as). I have a blow up double mattress for occasional guests. Hopefully my spare room will be more useful with the reorganising. I'm also looking for a " new" carpet for the spare room on eBay.

I shall likely post sporadically, but read with interest

    Bexster :)
  • Speaking of list-making, I’ve done one for the Christmas break with various items of ‘life admin’ to do, plus the usual declutter hotspots to tackle. I get roughly a week off over the Christmas period which is good, but Mr B is in doing his usual shifts so that leaves me with a bit of ‘spare’ time.

I’m sure lots will be done from the lists...! :j

    I am in for 2020 in 2020

I am surprised our ceilings have not caved in with the amount of "stuff" in the 2 lofts

Neither of us is getting any younger so I would like to clear them whilst we are still able to do so

Gosh, I hadn't even considered the lofts! As I wasn't on a 2019 thread I've decided to start now on this thread (rather than wait).
I've hopefully got someone coming to buy a littlest petshop set that has been sitting waiting for me to sell - I put it on the selling site a couple of days ago.
    Next targets -
try on the coats / hoodies to see if they still all fit the children. Give those that don't to my cousin for her children (seeing over Christmas).
dust / clean something else to sell before Christmas maybe Thomas tank engine set?

Oh, and I love doing competitions even though it's so much harder to win than it used to be.
    Decluttering target:
Beauty product - 11/52, last item - bubble bath used while I shaved legs, 2 conditioners sachets from used hair dye boxes
    Play room - 41/52, last item -
    Clothes - 23/52, last item -
    Food - 13/52, last item -

I would like to join this challenge please: 2020 items over the year. This really will be a challenge for me, as I have only managed to get rid of 586 things this year.
  • I'd like to join again. I'll aim for 1000 items this year.

Morning MrsSD, please count me in for next year. My wife's mental health has not been great over recent months, so my decluttering has come to a halt, but the attic is slightly better compared to this time last year. Need something to help me next year and to keep me distracted.

Decluttered some rolls of felt I was never going to use and several spools of yarn I also won't ever use.

Binned some material cut offs and will be going through my craft drawer as there is some more bits and bobs just sat there doing nothing.
