OH got trapped in the bedroom by the carpet lifting and the original door plate snapping. so new extra wide door plate fitted, had to take the door off and remove some of carpet underlay to stop the same thing happening again. :D Underlay, rusty screws and old door plate in the bin. :j

    Christmas cards recycled.:D

Mouse man has cancelled today, it's now tomorrow he's coming.

And a charity bag has been started, some fancy top that don't fit, bra's still in the bag, gift, to small and OH did not save the recite.

Hello all, I hope everyone is well, hugs a plenty if not.
Started sorting the built in cupboard ready to put the xmas decs back in, but had to enlist the help of DH as I'm vertically challenged and couldn't reach the top shelf :rotfl:. (Unfortunately there's no room to get a ladder in there either) I found more of my childhood books, about a dozen, which I need to go through before I make a decision as to where they go - to the DGC or cs . I did find a double quilt to go to the cs and 2 old cushion pads now in binned. Some fabric remnants have been bagged properly into 1 bag (there were 3  ) Some drawing paper, now earmarked for the DGC. and some crepe paper for the cs. 2 more games have been found and put with the others on the DGC's unit. I have my eye on a couple more things, but we had a bit of a tussle over some binoculars - DH won....... well I gave in ;) So I'll bide my time. As they say "slowly, slowly catchy monkey" :D
I have emptied my freezers and defrosted them. I don't like throwing any food out, but I found a few suspect items which have gone in the food recycling box. I really should label things properly, it seems my memory is not as good as I think it is ! :(
Right I'm off to sort out those books and take a trip down memory lane, but I am determined to get rid of stuff, somehow.

    Happy decluttering

The 6 jars left the house this morning, and have not returned (although they were not picked up by anyone so will end up in the recycling).

One old bed sheet that had a hole in
One old flask that could not be drunk from
    one kids magic set

    That's another 9 items.

The big bookcase has a bid on it. It's due up next Sunday, but hoping that one completes. That's three items out of 13 on ebay that have bids on them. Off to update my signature. x

9-18. 10 plastic storage boxes and lids sold on Facebook and collected by buyer.
  • Christmas decorations taken down and put away last night, didn't take too long as I hadn't put a vast number out, the tree is one of those minimalist lighted twig affairs, due to two of my three cats being young part bengal beasties - haven't dared to try a tree with baubles etc since having them. Cards have been stored in a box with other Christmassy stuff with potential to be recycled, either as toppers for handmade cards or as gift tags. I have another box with birthday cards / everyday stuff too - both are fairly full now, so will need to go through them sooner rather than later.

Sent out over 16 kilos of post today, so that was a successful weekend of sales. Still have a couple of orders to pack for tomorrow's post.

Decluttered some bits back to work... brought home my cafetière and cup etc to give a thorough wash and stain removal. Have a water bottle to take back too.

New wifi router arrived so old one all boxed up to return in the bag provided.

A “silent sweep” clock packed up and ready to return coz it ticks way louder and faster than my old clock!

Can I join in with every bodies decluttering journey. I have a huge amount to declutter and I'm motivated to get started.

2019 was a difficult year due to family bereavement. I've had to move out of my home. I've sold a lot of my furniture but there is so much more to either sell, recycle or bin.

I would like to do 2020 in 2020
