garden_girl_2 said:I have just typed A VERY LONG post and now its disappeared as I got distracted by a telephone call and a try from said person of a zoom meeting for later.... and the postman!!! grrrI have been having trouble getting on to this forum to comment for days. I tried getting back in with my password...not worked, then I found an MSE e mail addess which I used and they said they would send a link...not worked... so I e mailed again and they gave me a temporary password to get in.... it obvs worked!! ho hum...lolI have sold a House plant and a walkers bum bag this week...very MSE, my tin of cash is rattling and rustling, all from sales during the last few months. We have a BIT of a problem with our water into the house, we had a bill from water company last week increasing our monthly payments from £31 to £111 a month!! nearly had a fit when we read it...Obvs not correct but it would seem to have a leak from our meter/outside stop !!!!!! to our indoor stop !!!!!!. just had a man come and check and he thinks it could be just where the pipe enters the house....I seriously hope so, if not well im not quite sure what the engineers will do, 2 or 3 options, 2 im really not thinking about...arrrggghhhh....So we are being very MSE and turning the water off outside morning and night to save it and make sure the damage is kept to a minimum, thank goodness for BR Gs Hm Care and our buildings insurance.... would cost thousands to put right if not...very MSE of us. I want to put emojis in but cant find them on laptop which im using at the mo!!!Ive been decluttering the bedroom drawers this week, now have a full cs bag of rags, also lots of dust decluttered as well.Who knows if next time i try to get on here, it will work or not...fingers crossed... Thanks for my gold 🌟
My way of working has always been to reward myself after achieving something. At uni it was always an essay, at home it's declutter first. Unless I'm decluttering the fridge!
4 items listed on eBay 2 that I found in the said drawer.
Other achievements over the last few months has been my stash of wax melts. I've gone from a basket full to s handful. Very happy with that. XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Feeling more on top of things today. Could be worse health is the important thing.
Keep safe everyone and thanks TC776 -
Nicnak said:I always head for the fridge TC. I do find that when the outside world gets to me, If I can just organise one drawer or thing, then I feel so much better. x
In fact this is why my user name came about.
I am pleased to say that on Thursday I had friends round. It didn't take long to tidy and vacuum the house. It would have been several days work oin the past.and a lot of stress.
I gave a bag of wool to a friend whose daughter is making autumnal pom pom wreathes. Lovely colours. This is the 2nd bag and I will get most of this wool back so her mum says but I think I will let her keep it if she makes me one too.
I will have another bag on Monday as I have sold some stuff online. Just now 76/100 bags gone and we are in lockdown for a month. That should improve the odds of me actually getting somewhere

2002 2009 6 tumblers sold, lots of packaging and box posted
2010 - 2011 2 pairs of shoes back (bought for DD1 - sensible shoes for nursing course! but not comfy)
2012 bowl broken ( not sure if I counted it a few days ago) but also unsubscribed from some things
Had intended putting unsold things in CS bag but assume they won't want to be taking things in the next few days.

Sunday has been a mixed day - dry, rain, wind, rain more strong wind but quite warm for the time of year. I believe DSis had a nice birthday - flowers & a box of chocolates + a chocolate buttons Easter egg from DH & I, cards from us & her friend. Phone calls from her DS & our DB. She had the 2nd half of last night’s Chinese for lunch & roast beef & all the trimmings for dinner. The roast potatoes were spectacularly tasty - even if I say so myself.
She also had a nice bath before dinner. WUDUPAI have completed one hand warmer.
The squirrels were very entertaining today & one of them even likes digestive biscuits 😉

12 batteries taken to the recycling point at work. Took great satisfaction in putting them in. It's the one thing I always forget to take but never just throw in the bin.
Got three jars to go to a candle making lady.
This weekend is drawer clean out time. DD should be at her dad's and I can get rid of things that don't fit me too.
Should be able to do 40 items xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Thankyoufor the gold star Mrs SD. I have no idea how many I have now but it always cheers me on.
Please feel free to take the 'do one thing' motto. I am sure someone must own it but I give it you anyway.Another bag gone today. All online sales. I took photos of some plates I packed and the way I packed them as they are going on a long journey.
I had a second in a week disagreement on postage price with the post offiice lady today. I say: I am expecting to pay ....and they always seem to come up with a more expensive price. I have saved about £5.00 by standing my corner.
The CS is closing on Wednesdau so I won't be going for a while. Sad but hopefully they will be open again in a month. I have plenty to do and if I was isolated for a year I would still have stuff to do.
Keep well everyone.
