Whilst playing tetris with my caravan cushions ( van now been over-wintered) I found 5 x 2l bottles of OOD water. They were given to me by a kind neighbour when our water was off a few years ago. Oops ! Bottles now in recycling and water reused. Also found a large bag of electrical wires and a motor which DH needed to keep and sort
( leftovers from an electric bed gone about 2 years ago
) It's now in his shed awaiting sorting, so out of the house.... Yeah !!
In the cs bag a top, never worn as the neckline was too low, I'm such a shorty and I thought I would grow into itHope everyone is keeping well, many virtual hugs if not.nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently8 -

Hope everyone is staying self. Does anyone else find that when RL gets overwhelming the chaos and clutter seems far worse and can't find things! also tend to head to the fridge so still hoping to lose lbs at some point can then sort clothes etc.9 -
I always head for the fridge TC. I do find that when the outside world gets to me, If I can just organise one drawer or thing, then I feel so much better. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

I think that the message about the new rules may just pop up after so many posts - on which ever of the forums that post is and that there's nothing personal about it. Probably an algorithm - nasty things they are.
Another couple of bags to the charity shop and items given away to friends. We were given a halogen oven by a friend, but it's so bulky and Ive no room for it so I'll be looking to pass that on - though how when no-one can go anywhere beats me.
We're all getting over our colds - they were really debilitating - but MIL especially is still coughing. We had the DN to her yesterday - her skin is so fragile and it looks like lying in bed has split it. DN doesn't think it's a pressure sore but will be wending a ripple mattress overlay and cover - MIL won't like that. She put a dressing on that should last 'til Tuesday, in the bath and everything, - it came off last night. Luckily I keep a good supply of plasters of all sizes and Inadine so the carer is putting that on after her bath.
With the amount of stuff we get rid of our house should be looking emptier, but it isn't. We merged to cluttered houses when we came to live here in 2013 and have kept on buying stuff - mainly from charity shops - so it never seems to get any less cluttered.

Friday was quite a nice day - mostly dry so we were able to finish making the raised/table top bed 👏 DH & I carried the last set of sleepers through the house from garage to back garden - 2 x 60kg & 2 x 30kg. DH put the dowels in, long bolt screws & the brackets. It is a very sturdy construction. We then started to fill it - foraged wood, olive tree branches, foraged leaves, cardboard, grass cuttings, half the compost from the old raised bed & guess what 😕 all that only came to half way up the 2nd row of sleepers 😕 The frame from the old raised bed is going to be sawn in half & made higher, finished off with 2 spare planks & then utilised as a mini bed with a cover. Mini greenhouse/cold frame 👏 MSE to say the least. DH went to sm to pick up a few bits & bobs. Dinner was scrambled eggs on toast.I did do another half an hour of paperwork - gradually reducing but does seem never ending ☹️
Added - I did several 10 minute stints of clearing weeds/moss from the front path - about 2/3rds done 🙂
Saturday is rain, rain & more rain. I am making soup from los & have made the base for a lemon cheesecake for DSis’s birthday tomorrow. DH has carved a pumpkin, booked an M.O.T. for the Goldwing & is now on the phone to his DSis. DSis’s birthday flowers & box of chocolates have been delivered & have been hidden in the garage.

Brilliant work greent 👏 One Gold Star ⭐️ is on its way. As you say 2 more months to go - so plenty of scope for more flingage 😉
Good work short_bird 👏 steady progress 👏
Great work nannywindow 👏 Grow into it indeed 😉 did make me smile 😊
I am still chasing you TC77 😉 Great work on the decluttering - only 25 to go to reach your target 👏 An excellent observation about how RL impacts on our perception of clutter 👏
Gold Star ⭐️ on its way Nicnak - cheer ourselves up by sorting a drawer 😉
Absolutely spot on ailz95 👏👏 Sorry to hear about your poor MIL but it sounds like you & the DN are doing your very best to take care of her. Excellent work on the decluttering - every bit helps. One Gold Star ⭐️ winging its way to you - suitably disinfected 😉MrsSD ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🏅

TC77 and Nicnak - so true about RL and clutter. We got letters from our UK bank today saying that they are closing our accounts and I couldn't do anything for ages except think about chocolate. So, tomorrow I will force myself to do one small drawer and I'm off to the fridge now, right now. This is due to Brexit. and there is Covid as well. Stay safe everyone.8

5. MSE CONTENT - WILL SAVE £££ RE THE DAILY POT CHALLENGE BUT AS A WEEKLY AMOUNTThe carved pumpkin 🎃 had a face mask 😷😂 One group of 4 children turned up. Dinner was Chinese takeaway for DSis & DH. I had lo cheesy pasta with the addition of some mozzarella & sliced tomato. The lemon cheesecake is finished & is in the garage fridge. Lovely lemon scent every time I open the fridge door. I have started knitting another pair of hand warmers.
Now for the sad news - Sean Connery has gone to Bond heaven.
The bad news - Lockdown from Thursday 😖 Our government is determined that all small businesses will vanish & that we will have 30% unemployment - I despair 😔 & we still have the joy of Br*xit to come 😭
So sorry retiredinfrance 😔 Apparently the banks all have to negotiate individual arrangements with each of the EU countries, so have decided it is too much aggravation.Racing towards your target TC77 👏 Keep up the good work 😉MrsSD ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🏅
