MrsSD - I had to undo a massive rubber band ball to be able to post! 🤭9

Just dropping by MrsSD to say thank you for the gold star. Appreciated. May be inspired to visit the recycling centre at the weekend to start offloading types of material like fabric & paper. Think you are only allowed to offload one type of material, all socially distanced of course. Will keep you posted 🙂9

Today I have filled another 2 green waste bins ready for Tuesday collection with twigs and leaves. Also decluttered 2 rain drains of mud, leaves and sludge, followed by the large manhole pulled up in our garden and that drain being cleared out too by flushing it out with the hose....only to find more mud,Yuck. Neighbours must think we're mad as we spent about 2 hours on our hands and knees peering down the hole
Binned some rusty ironwork and recycled 2 mini moisture traps. Had a bonfire tonight and burnt 2 large bags full of old receipts, bank statements and other paperwork. Sat by the fire and decluttered a hot dog and a hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream into my tummy whilst watching the fire works
Please keep safe and wellnanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently7 -
Mrs SD - I had a feeling you were in the Isle of Dogs as I've seen you write about the DLR...impressed by all your do in your garden and the knitting. I have so many needles, random wool and no pattern. Have been looking on website and want to ease myself back into knitting and maybe learn to crochet.2021 a comb!Hope everyone keeping warm. Bled radiators so abit cosier here.8

A very successful day nannywindow 👏 Your neighbours probably thought you were trying to find/make sure the body was safe 😂 I really like that you repurposed your old paperwork into a bonfire 😉👏TC77, how about a scarf - every row knit - garter stitch. You can then check your tension & it means that you do not have to concentrate too much. Good luck with learning to crochet - I have tried 3 times & failed miserably ☹️Stay safe everyone.MrsSD ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🏅

5. MSE CONTENT - WILL SAVE £££ RE THE DAILY POT CHALLENGE BUT AS A WEEKLY AMOUNTFriday has been dry, bright & sunny but oh so very cold 🥶 A large box was delivered for me - not from DH - but obviously for my birthday on Saturday. No real idea who it was from but put in garage for tomorrow. 5 minutes of paperwork then kept waiting for 20 minutes on a phone call which was not successful ☹️ Need to phone back next week 😌
I started to knit a toque/beanie/watch cap - 12 rows knitted & then tested round my head. Way too small even for me 😔 so unpicked, picked larger needle size & started again. Now for the really sad/annoying part - it still doesn’t fit me - so unpicked again, larger needles selected - hopefully 3rd time lucky 🍀 DH went out on the motorbike to pick up a card for me & did a bit of sm shopping. My friend phoned - mystery of the box solved. She had sent it 👏🙂 Chatted for 20 minutes - all is well with our worlds & I will contact her tomorrow when I open my present 🥳
Dinner was sausages, mash, baked beans & chopped tomatoes.
2043 - 2045 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, plastic soap dispenser - Recycled
2046 Kitchen detritus - BinnedSteady progress EnergyShifter 👏 Though I will bet that one big bag of detritus belies the time & effort you expended to sort out the Understairs cupboard 😉Happy decluttering everyone 🙂😉MrsSD ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🏅

Happy Birthday Mrs Salad Dodger! Have a wonderful day. I hope DH and DSis spoil you today.
Had a good week with tidying and decluttering. Home looks so much better and I cannot wait to get this desk and the boxes of paper in the living room all sorted and emptied. Trouble is, I did all the easy wins last year and earlier this year so the things that are left take up more time to sort out. Never mind, every piece out makes a difference.
11 items of paperwork
4 items one of which quite large so much more space in my kitchen
51 old emails
Re: friend's paperwork - she will be very involved with the process (I will email photos to her where necessary and we'll do most of it by phone) and having quickly glanced at it, a lot of it is just junk mail and old bills which will be easy to just let go. Also, I am a qualified PA so am trained and experienced with running other people's paperwork (which is why I hate being in such a muddle with my own and can't wait to be back on top of it!!).

Very Happy Birthday Mrs SD... hope you get to relax and some pampering.
Abit of progress here, having bathroom done, which involved sealing areas to stop visiting pests and although they said no dust/door will be closed, just dusted hall and landing, hoovered and various small items binned and some awaiting DDs claiming
2022 -2023
2024 bathroom brochures
2025 - 2026 letter witnessed by neighbour and posted, and another signed by DD and scanned and sent to her to deal with.
2027 - used up food6
