Have also found various bits & bobs from freezer to make my next soup - chicken based. Currently watching TV - Sharpe & now Ashes to Ashes + knitting - whilst bits defrost. DH is watching MotoGP qualifying. The plan for later this afternoon (weather permitting 🤞) is to dismantle the raised bed.1880 - 1881 Two cardboard boxes - Recycled
1882 Plastic packaging - Binned
Fingers crossed 🤞 Nicnak - hopefully Weekend Willi will help you declutter loads this weekend 🤞

Operation declutter second bedroom/craft stuff was a success.
2 bags and 1 box of stuff thrown, plus a broken storage box that no longer need because I have gotten rid of a load! Plus a bag for charity, although the shop isn't taking donations again, so I'll try again next week.
I'm also rapidly burning through my candle collection again (no pun intended!) So have found a couple of cheaper big ones which should keep me going for a while.9 -
37/52 - just a small update but used up an item from the pharmacy and binned/recycled the packaging.9

The soup is made & has been lightly zizzed but not taste tested. The plan went to pot - DH went out to get another 100L of bark chippings + a couple of items from L*dl. By the time he got back it was too dark to start on the raised bed.Dinner was lo cheesy pasta for me; sausages, mash & plum tomatoes for DH & DSis.
1883 - 1887 Kitchen recycling, magazine, cardboard box, paper packaging, empty air freshener tin - Recycled
1888 Kitchen detritus - Binned

Gave away a cat carrier which has been sitting there for at least 3 years. Also decluttered a pile of logs into the stove. I have a chaz box which is full now but I hardly ever go that way do will have to make sure I do this week. Went through bathroom cupboard and found 2 part bottles of shampoo which makes my head itch so I used one to clean the loo and the other in a bucket of hot water to slosh down the "patio". (Actually a concrete slab where an old outhouse was, but still looks better clean!). I'm sure it's all the same stuff as long as it's detergent. Also sorted out a heap of old paperwork to use for fire lighting. Not much progress but in the right direction.Magnolia Stellata8

My last post fell foul of the ‘New Rules’ - does anyone have any idea at all why? Is there a board guide out there who can explain, please?Moving on - Sunday is overcast, dark & dreary. DH has just finished watching the MotoGP races. I have been knitting whilst decluttering programmes from my TV planner. We have just had a bowl of chicken based hm soup & DH approves of the taste. Saves money & uses up los - hopefully that qualifies as MSE content 🤞

873-878: carrier bags back to delivery chap, so 30p off the bill!
879-882: rubbish and recycling out.
883: old scales out, haven't bought a replacement yet as trying to decide which type to buy.
884-890: regular sweeping of emails and documents to keep the clutter down on the computer drives.
891: Another small job from Mum's estate resolved by a phone call.
892: Senior rail card cut up as there's very little point in keeping it...

Thanks ,Mrs SD, for the virtual hugs. We all need lots of them at the moment. Posted off parcel to DGCs, but had to decluttered over 17 euros! Still they will enjoy the contents.
Thanks also t o Rootle who triggered another item for decluttering- out of date medicines. Now have a small bag full and a small empty drawer as I got all medicines into the one drawer. It is in a small cabinet and I shall enjoy the emptiness for a while.
I used up the five euros in the treats jar on a magazine. I haven't bought one in ages.
When I was out at the Post Office and market l decided not to go to two charity shops and decided that I would add a euro to the treats jar, so I now have 2 in my jar.
91- ODD medicines
92- another teeshirt.
Total 92/122
Keep safe everyone.8
