Monday has mostly been a dry, sunny day & quite warm. However the breeze picked up & we had a few short showers - not enough to help the garden so did have to water 🙁
DH pottered, DSis stayed in her room. I did some shredding after sorting a bit of paperwork. Finished making the trifle - used up the last of the squirty cream & even found some sprinkles 🙃 Finally packed, wrapped & addressed the boxes of baby blankets & baby bonding squares. Will post them later today. Also sorted one shelf of the larder - that’s how I found the sprinkles 😉 I had a bowl of hm soup for lunch. Pasta shells with Bolognese sauce from the freezer for dinner. DSis had trifle for afters whilst DH & I had rhubarb crumble & custard.

Have decluttered Hubby and his fishing gear to the lake for the day and have just decluttered two crumpets into me for breakfast...it's a hard life but someone has to be noble and live it, today was my turn!
I've been right through the fridge shelves too today and rescued glass jars from a few things past their usefulness, fed the compost bin some items too far gone for us to use and given it all a good wash down.10 -

Thanks for the star MrSD. I find that all the support on this thread has helped me so much more than any self help books. It also keeps me thinking forward about what can go.
I got 4 bags to the CS yesterday morning. I took DD for her first day and showed her how to use the till at the managers request then worked on the door. We had a full pen by lunchtime again. It iscertainly a relief to get them gone.
No decluttering today. DD should have been graduating today so we are thowing a staggered family gathering so we can have a sort of celebration.
Take care everyone.

Apologies for not posting yesterday 😞 really because I was lazy & did sweet fanny adams 😞 Weather was a bit bleugh but no rain. DH went off on the motorbike Round Britain Rallying- managed to find a farm shop & bought a cauliflower, 3 corn on the cob, asparagus (soooo expensive 😱) & a cob loaf (sadly too late for potatoes🙁). He nipped into MrS & picked up potatoes, pork steaks & a sliced loaf. Only out for about 9 hours.DSis did all her washing including bedding but had to dry in the td 🙁I will draw a line under my lack of activity but I did make dinner - pork steaks, mash & cauliflower. DH & I had rhubarb crumble with creme fraiche with chestnut honey stirred in. DSis had trifle. I DID do the washing up 😉 so still keeping up with mantra 2 🙂
1305 - 1312 Kitchen recycling, newspaper, glass jar & metal lid, booklet, plastic pot, 3 magazines from DH - Recycled
1313 Kitchen detritus - Binned

The first full picking of runner beans from the garden this morning, enough for supper tonight and a whole bowl full of French beans all picked processed and in a container in the fridge for a couple of days meals. 3 cucumbers from the greenhouse and a picking of cherry tomatoes and a decent sized courgette from the pot outside.
Grocery delivery this morning sees the end of my dry goods restock for winter, all except todays sorted into categories and in the store and on the bookshelves in the spare room. I'll just be ordering in a couple of tins of meat extra when we get deliveries from now on, it's the area I need to top up but everything else is in and neatly tidied away on the shelves, nice feeling.9
