Sadly not enough blackberries yet to make a batch of jam so I've put them in the freezer until the wild ones ripen and I'll make a batch then. It will give me time to collect a few more jars from stuff we use up from the cupboards which will be good. DD has asked for some newspapers for craft purposes as her stash is nearly finished and that's good as we get a full sized Telegraph every day and I keep them for lighting the fire. A little declutter but if you add them all up they make a difference don't they? Usual recycling of glass, tine, card and paper and also green waste for the refuse collectors tomorrow too.9

Thursday DD and i decluttered things from her bedroom to her lockup, where all her house stuff is stored..

Anyway she has a couple of people who want several, 50%profit....lol so thats good.

hi bigdaftkid xx
TC77 - be kind to yourself xx When I'm feeling overwhelmed I step back, give myself some time out (usually with a cup of tea) and then proceed one piece of paper / one item at a time. Every single item sorted is one less for next time. I drafted this in from my working methods. I am known for being organised and efficient at work (no-one believes that I live in a cluttered tip!) - but it's only because when everything lands on my desk at once, I prioritise and then wade through it one job at a time. I used to try and multitask but found I got less done and more stressed - so now I don't (and quote statistics at anyone brave daft enough to question me) Eventually it dawned on me that what works in the office would work at home too. Hope that helps xx If you are tired and missing out on stress-busters you need to be extra kind to yourself.
xx

I have decluttered the medicine cupboard and put it into another cupboard. It works much better now. It also means I have a tea and coffee area resulting in the cups and glassware neatly in their own compartment with the actual tea and coffee now on the counter top. It's left me with more deep space cupboard space as I've utilised the cubby holes more efficiently.

This morning I have filled up the containers for the dish washer tablets, washing powder and anti bac soap. Their empty boxes / bottles have been recycled. Nothing major going out though I'm afraid.Keep safe and on the decluttering bandwagon.nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently8

Please can someone give me an incentive to declutter a load of essential oils that I "might" use, even though I haven't in several years. Do they go off once opened? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.8 -
Hi Elsien, I think if they're in dark glass they keep a while. Can you smell them and check and perhaps keep 2/3 that you really like and donate the others - there will be people who are very stressed and glad of essential oils to burn or use for massage. I'm trying to think how other people may benefit from things I'm just 'hoarding' and give them to a new home.Roudtuit - thank you - I can be organised with paper work but you're right it's about just keeping chipping away - no one else is going to do it.1380 work email sent (been on my mind)1381 few papers filed1382 - 1383 parcels posted1384 things dropped off to DD11385 - moved sofas so can sit in them as boxed moved into DD1 old bedroom. Much better. Going to sort non sold ebay things to CS bag later and put few other things on ebay in case I can get a few pennies.Envious of all the HG produce...sounds yummy. Will check on my 2 tomatoe plans and 3 strawberry plants9

Not much from me, but went round the garden and picked up bits of toys etc to put in bin. All broken and just dumped
Nothing major.
I'm just about to sort DDs wardrobe, again. She's had a growth spurt and nothing aged 6-7 will fit. They'll go to a charity collection.September 2017 Debt = £25330
