1019 - drain problem resolved - v unpleasant - went to hang up washing and noticed water and gungy by downpipe and drain. Didn't smell too much - not covered by home emergency cover so donned rubber gloves and broom and tub to bail out water. Too much for me and called in help - decluttered £ and fingers crossed ok. 4. DAY TO DAY DECLUTTERING WILL CONTINUE
Sunday was an overcast damp day. DH pottered in the garage, DSis watched TV in her room. I wiped down inside of the fridge & sorted contents. A bag of rocket & spinach starting to go over has been bagged & frozen - added to “soup” drawer. Unfortunately I have dairy products & a sauce to report as binned - about 5p single cream, 20p bbq sauce & 50p of Philadelphia cheese = 75p in total 🙁 Containers all washed, dried & recycled - like a good girl 😉The contents of the 4 kitchen freezer drawers have been rearranged more sensibly & there is a bit of wiggle room. I need to get back into the habit of at least writing a weekly menu plan - unfortunately neither DH or DSis are ever forthcoming with any ideas 😖Of course with the way the pandemic is going & talk of more infection peaks, I think I need to sort out my kitchen cupboards & create more space for supplies - dry goods, tins etc. So have just had a little flurry of activity & have managed to create half a shelf of space 👏 by moving all my small & medium glass jars (for hg olives + hm tomato & apple chutney - hoping for a decent harvest of olives & tomatoes & a neighbour has promised a supply of apples 🙂) to the empty drawer in the living room wall unit 🥳 Also sliced the going over bananas & froze them.
Dinner was lo hm cottage pie & green beans for DH & I. DSis had lo hm cheesy pasta topped with slices of mozzarella (from freezer) & sliced tomatoes.1039 - 1041 Kitchen recycling, glass bottle, cardboard packaging - Recycled1042 Bag of kitchen detritus - Binned

I don't know if it counts as decluttering but yesterday I sorted out my kitchen store cupboard and put everything in packets into jars with lids and labelled up the jars with indelible marker. It certainly 'looks' tidier in there and much less cluttered but all I got rid of were the outer packets.10

Boazu- definitely counts as decluttering! When I sort out a cupboard I count it or if alot of work might count each shelf and then anything I throw out ( very out of date etc) good luck13
