Everyone doing extremely well. Keep up the good work.
I am most definitely slowing down but doing small amounts daily.
613-617 magazines that DH had been given have been recycled.
618-619 moisturiser samples used up and binned
620-622 various large bits of metal found in the garden recycled.
623 various packaging
624 takeaway pot which DS2 dropped off at girlfriend's house when he had to go into work. Filled with pesto he had made.
625 some old plastic blades for a flymo we no longer have!!
I think that's all for now but will try and do some this weekend.9 -
Another one which I forgot to post.
626 a paint sample pot which I used to paint a plant pot holder. It finished the pot and looks good.10 -
716 - 717 posted really important letter and scanned copies of attachments (won't accept email) and pinned up proof of posting718 - 728 swept shed, organised, and binned broken watering can, racquet, seed tray, extension cable and instructions for power hoe which I've never had, rusty toasting fork, two long handles that don't fit anything else, bucket handle.DD painting shed so may have paint bucket later (and brush that was at the bottom left over from last time used).Hope all staying safe and not too frustrating to have a lovely sunny bank holiday when mainly indoors!10

14/52 - some unusual food things used up that I wouldn't have looked at except in these unusual circumstances including 2 coffee bags 🤔, another hotel freebie used up and a pair of old boots used to plant up some flowers rather than going in the bin!8

I've used up some sachets and individual filters and coffee bags over the last week to save my pods as long as I can. By good luck I've got an unopened jar of instant which I got when it was on special offer for the food bank, but I won't be going over there for a while so I'm donating money online and will use the coffee. My fridge freezer was all caked up with ice so I've decluttered that (the ice!) and has a brainwave and switched on the backup freezer in the outhouse which id been going to get rid of. It hasn't been used probably for years but seems to be getting cold so I can store some veg in there. Unfortunately I've also decluttered part of a tooth but no pain yet so fingers crossed. Hope everyone is getting supplies ok, I'm supposed to limit going out (health reasons) but I'm looking at a week or 2 of tins and jars when I've got through the veg and meat I have. No harm there though, I've got beans and peas and potatoes, fish and one of those hams in the tin cupboard so that'll be ok! Also some creamed rice and custard. I'll definitely be decluttering that cupboard with a vengeance! When all this is over though I'm going to move again, I can't cope with being out of town on my own, those days have gone, I'll need to look for somewhere with more people around I think. Just difficult with a little dog. Going to go and investigate the cupboard left by lodger now, not been able to face that yet really although I did clear out their stuff from the kitchen. It's the worst time to not have the extra money but no one wants a room right now and fair enough. I don't think I'm great company either. Sorry about the ramble!Magnolia Stellata9

nannywindow said:Thanks for my first gold star MrsSD.Still more de-rooting needs doing, but had a day off today helping DH recycle a fence panel. We had to put it at the top/side of the garden as someones Jack Russell dog and it's Greyhound friend, have broken down a 3ft fence
Now lets see the JR climb over a 6/7 footer, although the GH ( more like a pony ) could probably still clear it in one leap. The panel was cobbled together with extra bits of wood that DH had kept for Justin and painted by moi with leftover shed paint. This is one time I will let him off for keeping things
Decluttered several pieces of wire and metal and I also unearthed an Asda men's underarm, goodness knows how it got there, but it certainly wasn't ours. Found and binned several assorted kids balls/ small toys as we no longer have neighbours.
We had the last of the rubber chicken today, I think it was on a bit of elastic too. This time it was yesterday's leftover chicken curry put into hot dog rolls.......... very tasty too.Gem Gem I too still have my teddy bear and I couldn't bear to part with him ( no pun intended ). It's now about 60 years old, and still has a leg and an ear hanging by a threadBTW I don't want to spoil it's individuality by fixing it, it's been like that since my childhood and it won't be the same bear to me !

237: the remains of one plastic plant pot.
Last year, I bought all the gubbins to repot one plant and separate a very potbound mother in law's tongue plant. I now have 6 plants from 1, a quarter of a bag of compost and 2 pots left. So I think we'll call that evens...‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Happy Easter fellow Declutterers
Thanks for good wishes - have been heeding your advice re: self-care and thankfully I'm in a much better mental state than I was when I last posted.
In addition to working - I've been keeping on top of tidying / cleaning which feels good. Also I've been much more organised about how I schedule my work - arranging it so that I'm working early in the morning and early eve - keeping the afternoons mostly free. It's working really well at the moment..
Not much to add and some things I would have preferred not to add that I managed to break or melt !
