I've just been told some ***** has cloned my credit card so more admin today to sort this out 😠Oh no Marpau, sorry to hear about your card and hope you get it all sorted asap.Today I plan to clear out my concertina file of paperwork, I have ordered a new one from Amazon as this one has broken. There's bound to be loads of stuff I don't need in there. I do have a shredder but it isn't one that takes staples, so will have to de-staple before shredding.Hope everyone has a good day.

Sorry about the card Marpau. How awful to have to try and sort. x
I had a brainwave this morning. If people are at home then they might be buying more books and the book buying apps might now take some of the books they previously declined. I was right. I have listed 25 books that are now awaiting picking up from DPD. That brings my total to 2040!
I have hit the 2020 target! I still have a long way to go and lots of room to still do and go through, but this has inspired me to keep going. x

Went to Waitrose yesterday - thinking it wouldn't be as crowded as the more affordable supermarkets. It was, DH got in the queue which went half way around quite a large carpark. Queued for about 40 minutes, then I took over and went in the store. There were only 10 people in - congregated in 3 areas - fruit and veg, tins and bakery. There were strange things missing - no brussel sprouts, cucumber, scallions, hummus, chickpeas or kidney beans. Loads of baked beans. No vegan croissants or hellmans vegan mayo. The joints/birds that they have in frdges at the ends of the aisles all had covers on, so no-one would buy them I suppose - but why? Found it all very nervewracking.
So decluttered some money - more than usual with it being Waitrose, but managed to stock up on fresh veg.Clutter free wannabee 2021 /52 bags to cs. /2021 'stuff' out of the placeYOU CANNOT BE ALL THE GOOD THAT THE WORLD NEEDS, BUT THE WORLD NEEDS ALL THE GOOD YOU CAN BEtaken from Shelbizleee on YouTube - her copyright7 -

Used up a hand cream, decluttered a bag of food to a friend in a drive by swap (but he left a bag of stuff in exchange!), binned the packaging from a parcel, gave dog the last sachet of the food he likes (kibble from now on, he won't starve), burned a pile of old paperwork. Zero motivation though and not feeling great. Sunshine helps though.Magnolia Stellata9

1000. 60+ strawberry plants planted (dug up last year/ runners planted in Autumn – all in indiv pots)
Very pleased to have done #1000 - DS1 and I have spent the last couple of days digging over the old strawberry patch - it was weed infested last year, so we emptied it and de-weeded it last Autumn and then dug up the few new weeds and a lot of roots and stones whilst digging it over. We then emptied one of the compost bins and dug that in and then today planted all the strawberry plants in. Doubt we'll get much (if any) this year - but it's all cleared and looks much better and is ready for next year at least!

Hello all, I hope everyone is well, hugs if not.Our bins were emptied yesterday, the first time they had been put out for collection for a month, normally I fill them every 2 weeks
Must make more of an effort to keep that up !
Yesterday and this afternoon, I have been in the back garden and I have removed ( decluttered) about 10ft of hedge roots ( the hedge was cut down last year ) and now there is only another 20 odd feet to go
Good job the hedge only takes up about half the length of the garden as some of it is a devil to remove ! Why does everything I do in the garden end up in a fight ? Anyway underneath the roots the soil is lovely and some of it will be redeployed around the garden, I don't think it has been disturbed since the 1940's when the hedge was planted. The roots will be hidden amongst the shrubs until they rot down, or the green waste collection begins or the tip opens again.
Keep safe and well everyone. Happy decluttering, every little helps.nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently8
