Wednesday was another gloriously sunny day & warm. I finished scarf no.36 & started scarf no.37 (I now have 8 scarves ready to go to the homeless but of course no way to deliver them ☹️ + I can’t count as they are still cluttering the house ☹️The last portion of the ropey beef joint was slow cooked with onion, potatoes, tomatoes, wrinkled carrots, stock pots, mixed herbs, Worcestershire sauce & a dollop of tomato purée - 🤤 with cauliflower, mashed potato for DSis & mashed sweet potato, carrot & parsnip for DH & I. The rest of the wrinkled vegetables - carrots, onion, garlic, tomatoes + cauliflower stalks & leaves - were chopped, bagged & frozen ready for my next hm soup.DH did our weekly shop - milk, meat, vegetables & a few cans. In fact everything on my list 👏 plus he treated me to some Belgian choc chip cookies 💕 A big bonus of course is that my bank balance is not reducing 😉 as DH is paying for everything 🤣
Thursday is another dry, sunny & warm day 😁 First good news of the day is that the Recycling bins were emptied - 1st time in 3 weeks 👏 so no excuse not to to declutter 😱
I have phoned my bank & transferred monies to my DNeph in France - he had phoned his mum (DSis) yesterday - unable to afford food 😱 Fortunately DSis & I took the decision to hold back the money our DMum had left him (12 years ago). My DNeph is exceedingly bad with money - if he has it, he spends it - with nothing put by for a rainy day 😔 He is 29 years old & should know better 😔 The money has been eked out over the years & there is still a quarter of the original amount left - I have been exceedingly frugal with his money 🤣 obviously I had a premonition 😂

Not much from me this week, decluttered the fridge but wasn’t too bad as I’m trying very hard not to waste any food at all.
shredded a pile of receipts from pre-lockdown laziness. Oh has been decontaminating and allocating to shedding every new bit of post, mostly before I even read it
decluttered some chilli powder and vinegar to the raised bed after the fox has got under the netting and dug all my seeds up! Warned my somewhat ocd oh that we will get whatever veg grows where and it will no longer be in straight lines!
decluttered lots of washing to the washing line this week. Blankets will be next, then net curtains.Bank holiday weekend off work so plan to sort the wardrobe and see what summer clothes fit or not and which are no longer loved. Will create a charity pile ready for if normality ever resumes.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?9 -
218: a cereal box of paperwork to recycling
219: contents of large IKE@ bag homed.
220: P60 related enquiry received response which was basically "er yeah, it's in the pipeline..."
Hope all are well, at the moment if I can do anything useful, it's a bonus.

With the nice weather has seen OH and I doing some outside work, so car has been washed, paths have been pressure washed, windows cleaned.
I've also been painting the stone ornaments left in the garden, 2 down, a lot more to do, but it's more colour in the garden, plus side, the blackbird is getting very close to me, like just out of arms reach.

4. DAY TO DAY DECLUTTERING WILL CONTINUEThursday stayed gloriously sunny & warm but I decided on a duvet day 😆 I spent most of the day up to 4 p.m. in my dressing gown. Then retired to the bathroom for a long hot soak - so long that I looked like a prune when I got out 😂 Soon remedied by lashings of body lotion 😉 Hair is now tangle free, squeaky clean & shiny. I smell luvverly 😉
DSis cooked her own bacon sarnie 😉 for lunch. Whilst I was turning myself into a prune, DH & DSis were sorting out the front garden.Dinner was the slow cooked beef with mashed potatoes (DSis), mashed root vegetables for DH & I plus fresh carrots.
