I have finally managed to clean and clear out the fridge which is long overdue. A carrier bag full of out of date jars went in to the rubbish. I’ve managed to convince DH that we don’t need to have three different types of beetroot in future !
If I’d actually thought it through I have done it on a week when we actually have our bins collected but nevermind
I hope everyone is doing well, stay safe x2025 Decluttering Campaign Mrs SD –The joy of decluttering 45.5/104⭐️

1. WRITE AND USE “TO DO LISTS” - MINIMUM 30 MINUTE BURSTS OF ACTIVITY AT LEAST TWICE EVERY DAY2. KITCHEN WILL BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT3. I WILL ENDEAVOUR TO BE NICE TO EVERYONE & TRY TO SEE THE FUNNY OR PECULIAR SIDE TO AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
4. DAY TO DAY DECLUTTERING WILL CONTINUETuesday was a Gloriously sunny & warm day. Used Google translate to write short notes in French to add to boxes containing Easter Eggs. All wrapped ready to post. I phoned my usual P.O. & it was business as usual 😁 DH drove me round on the motorbike - parcels posted & paid for by card. As the P.O. is at the back of a shop, I also did a small shop - milk, potatoes, a couple of bananas, 2 packets of anti-bacterial hand wipes 😁, box of cornflour, sliced loaf. We drove home the long way - so took 6 minutes instead of 3 😆
Once this situation is all done & dusted, I will make a point of picking up a few items in the shop whenever I am posting parcels or buying stamps.Rest of the day was spent knitting whilst watching TV 😞
No cooking - DH treated us to pizza as 2 for 1 Tuesday. Plenty left for lunch tomorrow.

Good work Abbafan1972 👏
Great work villagelife 👏
Nicnak & basketcase - I agree with jinnyisacat - everyone is entitled to a day off if not many 😉
You have been busy Gem-gem 👏 & a deserved reward of reading out in the sunshine 🙂
Great work TC77 👏 especially the hall floor 👏 Our council appear to be collecting only the rubbish & not the recycling.
StickyTheStickInsect, I am your DH’s kindred spirit - I do love beetroot 🤣 Well done on the clean & clear of the fridge 👏
Good work short_bird 👏
Oh Marpau what a nightmare 😖 Did you manage to get out of the airport before you were told? TPTB have not been very good at getting people back home & it sounds like you had to do it all yourself 😡 Mind you, you have made excellent use of your self-isolation 👏 so I am awarding you your 2nd Gold Star ⭐️
Keep safe everyoneMrsSD ⭐️
