Thank you for the gold star Mrs SD !! I’d reply quoting your original post but I haven’t quite worked out how to do that in the new forum, I also can’t find the emojis and whilst I’m feeling technically illiterate at the moment, I hope it will improve !
Pleased to hear that the arm isn’t too bad Mrs SD, I hope the bruise isn’t too painful.
No decluttering here today, I’m sorting stuff out for DS2’s birthday on Friday and hoping an Amazon wish list might negate an influx of more plastic crap. DS2 will likely love the boxes more than the gifts anyway, the joy of being 2!2025 Decluttering Campaign Mrs SD –The joy of decluttering 45.5/104⭐️

Mrs SD hope you're on the mend.
Stellata , I understand about helping your daughter. I help mine , possibly ( probably) more than some people think I should. I try to give her in kind thing ( back or card/.scissors and glue for her college posters and packaging for her to send clothes she's sold online and helping her with stuff for interviews.
No decluttering but will count when out of the house !!11 -

More from me (and MrEH!) last night:
another bag of shredding to work - that was shredded this morning.
3 x old pillows and 1 x old duvet > rubbish
Many MANY random old tickets and things that were being kept for sentiment - we both agreed that we weren't going to forget that we'd done those things so there was no real benefit to keeping the tickets, they were just cluttering.
Lots of random items from the bookshelves and desk > rubbish.
2 x books to re-gift to a family member who will appreciate them more than we do - they've literally barely been opened by us and are in immaculate condition.
A big pile of last year's beer order paperwork > rubbish
4 x old Hackney Speedway programmes > Rubbish - I have no IDEA why I'd separated those out to keep when I ditched a load of others!
Another book > charity shop bag
This morning I used up a body scrub so that will be being declared over on the No More Toiletries thread in a moment!
Clearing the old bedding items makes room in the cupboard for the remaining spare stuff rather than it just sitting on the spare room bed looking untidy - and that in turn makes the room look clearer. Bookshelf 1 in there also looking far clearer, and the desk is tidy too - we spend a lot of time in there when we're working in our volunteer roles for the beer festival so it'll be nice to have a more user-friendly space. I will need to do some more filing at some stage as last night I just tidied the pile of paperwork and stacked it neatly. 15 minute bursts of filing are on my agenda for tomorrow I think! (and probably during a very wet and dreary looking weekend as well!)
Have a good day fellow declutterbugs!
