I appreciate your feedback, @ryan92 - was a savings account opened for each current account you opened? The Virgin Money Current Account pays interest at 2.02% AER1 (2.00% gross2 per annum variable) on credit balances up to £1,000. Interest is calculated on a daily basis and is paid on the last business day of each month.
The Virgin Money Instant Savings account pays interest on total balances at 0.50% AER (0.50% gross per annum variable) interest on your savings. Interest is calculated on a daily basis and is paid on the last business day of each quarter

Just opened a 2nd account online. easy peasy - took less than 5 mins.
Question - When I opened my first account I missed the 31 day deadline for switching to get the Wine offer. Will I be entitled to it for this 2nd account as I didn't do it with the first? Or will they not count me as a 'new' customer?0 -

IIRC you can open 3 with no real fuss. More than three and you might get some light interrogation as to why you want to open another account0
