No DHL and no email.Hmm, is there a black market in giving away free wine nowNot being a wine drinker, I'm using this freebie as an opportunity to try some and see what I like. I got some advice many moons ago from a friend to go for "a red with a zed". It rhymes, so it must be right
Consequently, a bottle of Spanish Rioja going by the name of "Finca Manzanos" is nearly finished now.
Cracked open a bottle of Black Pig white from the case tonight, must say in went down well with my meal. Could get used to this.0 -
We received our 2 boxes just before Christmas.
14 red. 14 white. 2 fizzy.

Some applications seem to get stuck and need manual intervention.@regular posters: what happened to the mse 'give them a call' animation. Not available with new system? Too corny for this day and age maybe?0

Just tagging on to ask whether the wine delivery has any documentation saying 'here's your reward' or whether it looks like a Virgin wine order delivery?

Account switched on 23 December and had my notification of the wine a few days ago. All seems to have gone smoothly so far.
I'm not sure if the MSE info is just out of date but this doesn't make sense to meVirgin Money also opens a linked savings account paying 0.5% AER variable for you when you get this account – you'll need to add £1,000 to it to get the wine offer. But as it can be easily beaten on rate, don't keep the £1,000 in there longer than thatThe best rate I can see on MSE is 0.55% and others for 0.5% too, so the phrase "easily beaten" doesn't seem logical to me
I'm not sure why you'd bother for 0.05% when you have the convenience of money to transfer to your current account.
Is it just that the MSE guide for Virgin has now become outdated?Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -

You get notified on the day of delivery via email that it will arrive with a 1 hour time slot. I got nothing previous to this.0 -
As I said in an earlier post, no email for me, wine just arrived in a big white van, but yes was in a nice red box.I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.0 -
Had my third email with the wine code today telling me to claim it. Tempted but we've already started drinking the wine as it arrived last week.1
